Chapter 39

Blake made his way into his grandfather’s study and saw him sitting in his favorite chair in front of the fireplace giving a crackling sound from the burning logs. Blake approached him and sat opposite his grandfather in one of the leather chairs. After a while of silence, his grandfather leaned over, poured Blake a glass of red wine, and then poured himself one. Then after handing it to Blake and taking his glass, he spoke.

“The chair will be in your room shortly. I’m having it sent over while we discuss this matter. You said that you could sense a change within yourself when you sat upon the chair?”

“Yes, it’s a little hard to describe the sensation I received. Almost as if a wave of warm energy was coursing through my body.” Blake replied, looking at his grandfather.
