Richard the Noble paused for a while to consider his options.

If he didn't have an appointment, he wouldn't bother meeting with a common nobility, but something inside of him was yelling for him to find out why the person was there.

As a trader, his instincts told him there might be a huge discovery. Furthermore, the noble's identity was rather ambiguous.

Richard stood there, thinking. "Bring him to the third floor," he finally decided.

"As you desire!" said the servant, relieved. He didn't want to turn down the individual who had come today.

In an effort to seem menacing, Richard adjusted his stance after the servant departed to make himself appear 1 centimetre higher.

He rose up and glanced in the mirror, which couldn't even display half of his physique because his stomach covered most of it. He proceeded up the steps, accompanied by two guards, and entered a large chamber.

He would have had a heart attack just trying to ascend the stairs if he wasn't a C-rank warrior.
