Hunting?

“I never knew Hayden was into stuff like that.” Bryan chuckled and Hayden ignored them.

“I was also surprised, he used a thousand dollars to play the game.”

“Nice.” Bryan replied.

“And he carried me into my room also, do you think he is following the script or he is just starting to be nice?” Ashley asked Bryan as she smiled happily remembering last night.

“Must you talk about everything?” Hayden asked angrily and walked away.

“Oh, did I say something wrong?” Ashley asked.

“No, just ignore him.” Bryan replied and she nodded.

“Okay, I need to have a word with him so just keep doing your thing.” Bryan said and she nodded with a smile, he walked out of the dining and headed to the only place Hayden could be, his study room.

Bryan got there and Hayden rolled his eyes on seeing him.

“Knowing you is so annoying already and the only thing you could do is find an unbearable person you think can help me.” He scoffed and Bryan chuckled.

“I don't just think she can help you, I know she can help you.”

“She can't “

“I am not going to argue with you about this.”

“Whatever.”

“So, let's talk about last night.” Bryan sighed and sat on a chair.

“I don't want to talk about it.”

“Was everything she said true?”

“I said I don't want to talk about it.”

“Hayden,” Bryan called and he sighed.

“All she said was true.”

“Wow, you really won her a stuffed bear?” He asked and Hayden glared at him.

“I am just surprised.” He muttered.

“What happened when you guys got home?”

“I carried her in and she told me to lay with her and... “

“You did?” Bryan asked eagerly.

“Will you just shut up and let me explain?”

“Sorry.” Bryan muttered.

“I didn't do anything with her, I just felt a different urge entirely.”

“What urge?”

“I felt the urge to kill her Bryan, I felt like sucking the life out of her.”

“Are you for real?”

“Yes, and I don't think I can hold that feeling.”

“Are you sure that was how you felt?”

“Would I be lying to you?”

“Yes and that is because you can do anything to get rid of her.”

“Fuck you, Bryan.” Hayden scoffed.

“Yeah.”

“I am serious about this, I had the urge to kill her, do you know how hard it was for me to resist her?” Hayden asked.

“Keep on resisting, if you were able to for hours then you can do it for three months.”

“Get her out of my house Hayden, fire her or do something about it.”

“I won't do anything till the review is complete, she can help you, Hayden, just accept that fact to make things easier.” He said and Hayden rolled his eyes.

He sighed and they suddenly heard a knock on the door.

“Lucas?”Hayden asked and the door slowly opened and Ashley poked her head into the room.

“Can I come in?” She asked with a smile.

“Of course.” Bryan replied and Hayden sighed, she walked in fully and Hayden noticed she was holding her book.

“I am so sorry for interrupting, I just wanted to show Hayden the next thing on my list before he leaves the house again.” She said and Bryan smiled.

“Go ahead.” Bryan said and she nodded, she walked to Hayden and opened the book.

“This is the next thing on the list.” She giggled and pointed at it, Hayden read it and scoffed.

“You want me to go into the woods with you?”

“Yes, I want you to go with me and hunt in the woods, you forgot to mention the hunting part.” She corrected his statement and smiled.

“Just one question Ashley.” Hayden said.

“Go on.”

“Why the fuck is this on your list?” He asked raising his voice a bit.

“Freeze Ashley.” Bryan ordered and she froze.

“What the fuck?” Bryan asked and laughed.

“It is not funny.” Hayden said angrily and Bryan laughed louder.

“Stop laughing, you caused it. You encouraged her to make the list of dumb things, I do stupid things with her every day.” Hayden scoffed and Bryan laughed.

“Hey, I am trying to help you here.”

“I never asked for your help.”

“Why the hell will going hunting be on the list of things she wants to do? It's so weird.”

“Well, why don't you ask her?” Hayden asked and Bryan chuckled. He snapped his finger and stopped laughing.

“It is on my list because I like wildlife, I have always wanted to live in the woods for a while but I couldn't go alone but now that I have you, we can just spend a day and explore the woods.” She explained.

“Why will you want to explore the woods  when there are other interesting places to explore?”

“I don't know, all I know is that I want you to go hunting with me.”

“I am not going.”

“You have to.” Bryan said and Hayden glared at him.

“Bryan, I think it's time for you to go.”

“Yeah, yeah.” Bryan chuckled and stood up.

“But you just came minutes ago, you don't have to leave now. Don't listen to Hayden.”Ashley whined and he smiled.

“I know but I have other things to do, you know Empire is a big firm and I am in charge of it.” Bryan said and she nodded.

“Who owns Empire Acts by the way?” She asked.

“Empire doesn't have a specific owner now, it once belonged to an old man named McCall Dean and he died so the government took over it years ago and since then, a lot of people have been in charge of it, and luckily for me, it's my turn. I worked in Empire when Mr. Dean was still alive so luckily I got promoted.”

“Wow, I am so happy for you.” She giggled and Hayden rolled his eyes.

“You are going to flip when you discover that all of this is a lie and Empire is a fantasy,” Hayden said and she rolled her eyes at him.
