A Stuffed Bear!

An hour passed and Hayden still kept battling with the Fun Gem Claw machine, Ashley sighed as she watched him battle with it.

She played with the pile of stuffed animals he has successfully brought out except the bear. She was starting to feel cold and she wrapped his jacket around her.

“Hayden.” Ashley called as he wiped sweats off his forehead.

“I am busy here Ashley.” He replied and the bear dropped out of the claw again.

“Can't we just go home?”

“No.”

“But it's past midnight already, it's two in the morning.” Ashley sighed and he ignored her.

“Okay, I don't want the bear again, let's just go home.” She whined and he ignored her again.

“Hayden come on.” Ashley groaned and he ignored her.

“I need more coins.” He said and changed the money into coins.

“You are wasting a lot of money just to get a stuffed bear.” Ashley laughed and he ignored her.

Some minutes later, he finally brought out the bear and sighed in relief.

“Told you it wasn't hard.” He sighed and he noticed his jacket was around Ashley.

“Why are you with that?” He asked with a frown.

“Oh, sorry. I was feeling cold do I use it.” She said and removed it around her, she gave it to him and he collected it from her.

“Here.” He muttered and gave her the bear.

“Thank you.” She said with a smile and he sighed.

“Can we go now?” She asked.

“Yes please, what about all of these?” She asked referring to the stuffed animals on the floor.

“Just leave it.” He replied and head towards the exit of the casino.

Ashley walked behind him and she shivered immediately they got out, she whimpered and Hayden turned to her to see her shivering.

“Put this on.” He gave her his jacket and she did immediately, they walked to his car and they entered.

The lights in the park turned off immediately and she sighed.

She was so exhausted and was feeling sleepy already, she slowly rested her head on the car seat and cuddled herself.

“Your body is going to ache that way.” Hayden said as he drove into the streets.

“I know but I feel so sleepy.” She moaned and he sighed.

“Thanks for today Hayden, I will never forget this.” She muttered with her eyes closed.

Hayden got home and he turned to her.

“Wake up Ashley.” He said and tapped her but she didn't give a response.

“Ashley, we are home.” He said and her soft snores replied to him.

“Oh jeez.” He muttered and walked out of the car, he walked to the other side of the car and opened it. He carried her in a bridal style and she wrapped her hands around his neck.

“Don't forget my teddy bear.” She whispered and he rolled his eyes.

“Of course.” He muttered and picked up the teddy bear and her phone.

He carried her into the house and head towards the stairs, he finally got to her room and he placed her on the bed. He dropped the ready bear and her phone beside her bed. He tried taking his jacket off her but she held it tightly, he sighed and took off her shoes.

“Hayden.” She muttered as she was about to get to the door, he turned to her and sighed.

“What again?”

“Please can you sleep here?”

“Why?”

“Please Hayden.” She muttered sleepily. Hayden walked to the bed and sat on it, he took off his shoes and sighed again before laying beside her, she moved to him and placed her head on his chest. Hayden froze as he felt that feeling again, he hasn't felt this way in more than a thousand years.

“Ashley.” He groaned as he started feeling a strange urge but Ashley wasn't giving a response, he tried to pull away but she held him tightly.

“Oh, God.” He whispered as he fought every urge to flip her over and hurt her. He groaned silently and ran his hands through his hair.

He sighed and took in a deep breath, he tried to calm himself and closed his eyes.

Ashley woke up the next day and couldn't find Hayden in her bed, she got ready for the day and headed downstairs.

“Good morning ma’am.” Lucas greeted her as she walked into the dining.

“Morning Lucas.” She replied with a smile.

“I guess you had a wonderful night?”

“Indeed I did.” She giggled and sat down for breakfast.

“Have you seen Hayden today?” She asked.

“Yes ma’am, he left home very early.”

“Oh, okay.” She sighed and continued with her breakfast.

“Is he coming home anytime soon?” She asked Lucas.

“I don't about that ma’am.” He replied and she nodded, she ate her food slowly since she wasn't as excited as she was earlier.

“Ashley.” She heard her name and she looked up to see Bryan.

“Oh, hey Bryan.” She said with a smile and he smiled back, he sat beside her and she giggled.

“How are you?”

“Am good you?”

“Am fine.”

“So, I saw your text.” He said and she nodded.

“Hmm, I saw the scripts for the movie and I don't feel comfortable with it, I want you to change it.”

“You don't have to worry about the scripts Ashley.”

“Are you sure? Hayden said I might get fired.”

“No, just ignore anything Hayden tells you okay?”

Ashley nodded in response and smiled at him.

Hayden suddenly showed up and Ashley smiled happily.

“Hey, Hayden.” She called happily.

“Hey.” He replied and sat opposite them.

“Hayden, Bryan said I don't have to worry about the scripts so we are going to be stuck together for three months.” She said and Hayden looked at Bryan.

“Okay.” Hayden replied.

“Thanks for yesterday.”

“Yeah, whatever.”

“What happened yesterday?” Bryan asked.

“Oh, Hayden surprised me by taking me to a park and he won me a stuffed bear.”

“What the fuck?” Bryan asked and she nodded happily.

“Hayden, you won her a stuffed bear?” Bryan laughed and Hayden glared at him.
