I don't think anymore that Hector would trade Kaia for Alora. Maybe in the beginning, but not now. Hector plans to leave Kaia alone as long as she's safe. He finally let Alora go. And you know either Than or Alora is going to find Kaia. Kaia will never get true peace.

I think Alpha Damon attacked Kaia and Alora's pack when they were young. Their parents might have been forced to give Alora up.
