(MELANIE POV):

I opened my eyes only to find myself in the hospital. my wrist was bandaged and no longer hurting as last night. Right beside me was an angry Kyle.

Nothing scared me more than that now. I didn't know what i had done this time and didn't want to get hurt again.

I put my hands over my face, ready for his worst but then he gently placed his hand on mine and took my hands down.

"Why are you covering your face?" he asked me and i was instantly confused. How come his mood suddenly changed?

"You see that?" he asked, pointing at the blood hanging beside my bed.

"You are returning to your cage after it finishes." he added.

I relaxed on the bed since it looked like he wasn't going to harm me. At least for now.

"I'll be right back." Kyle said and disappeared.

Few minutes later he returned with some food.

"Take this and eat." Kyle said but i shoved it back at him.

"I am not hungry." I said.

"I don't care. Eat it." Kyle said and I reluctantly collected it. Not because I wanted to
