Octavia Pov

I turned in my sleep feeling light headed, I yawned sitting up. I look around me, looking outside the window. I sighed knowing I slept for long as we currently were in the evening, I must have been so tired to have slept for that long. I stood up from my bed and stretched, it feels good to sleep on a nice bed. I came out of my room heading to where we ate before we slept and no one was there, no one except a man, an unfamiliar man. He looked at me and bowed his head.

“Good evening Luna, my name is Asher and I am the pack Beta” he introduced himself. I smiled at the fact he called me Luna, I went towards him.

“Hello, you can just call me Octavia. Do you know where Lillian is?” I asked. He looked at me probably wondering why I didn’t ask for my mate instead. Well I don’t currently trust him and I don’t want to get my hopes up.

“I don’t know where she is currently, Luna but you can wait for her here while I mindlink her” he said.
