Part: 5 Deep Trouble

Anna's P.O.V.

Oh, God! This man is driving me mad. His proximity literally stole my breath away. I'm not sure what it was, but whatever it was, it was quite strong and foreign to me.

I need to stay away from him because I know his intention, he only wants to make me his submissive.

I would have considered giving him a try if he wasn't interested in the BDSM relationship, but it's always a big no for this BDSM relationship.

I'm thinking all this, sitting in the cafe and sipping the coffee with a serious look on my face.

Eve's P.O.V.

I'm going to meet Dev at his house, and then he'll take me on a date. I'm excited but a little upset because the dress Dev had given me to wear was ruined when Anna accidentally dropped a glass of juice on it at breakfast.

I'm sure Dev will be disappointed as well if he doesn't see me in that dress. My only concern is that he won't freak out and cancel our date.

I stepped into his house and saw him sitting in the hall. He must be waiting for me. He smiled at me as he raised his head. I returned his smile as I approached him.

His smile faded into a frown as he saw my outfit. He stood up, staring at me sternly.

"Dev, I,"

He cut my words. "Why didn't you put on what I gave you in the morning?" He inquired in a dominating tone.

"Dev, Anna dropped the juice on that dress at breakfast. I'm sorry your mood got spoiled because of me." My eyes became moist, and his eyes softened after knowing this.

He clasped my face and purred, "Baby Girl, don't be sorry. It wasn't your fault."

"You aren't angry?" I asked to confirm.

"I was angry when I didn't know the reason, but not anymore because it wasn't your fault." As he explained to me, a smile flashed on my face.

"But you could have worn that spoiled dress for your master and could have changed here as I was dying to see you in that dress. I specially went to my friend's store and selected that dress for you." After listening to him, my lips drew down in sadness again.

"I'm sorry." I moved my eyelashes down in guilt.

"It's fine. But be careful next time." He kissed my forehead.

"And tonight you're staying with me because I'll punish you for not following my orders." As he uttered, smirking, my eyes widened in shock.

"That's not fair, Dev. You only said that it wasn't my fault." I complained.

"But still you didn't follow my orders. Doesn't my little submissive deserve punishment for this?" He grinned.

"Yes, Master." I nodded meekly at him.

"Now, let's go on the date, baby girl." He extended his hand to me, and I smiled as I placed my hand on his.

He then led me out of the house. I'm really enthusiastic about our date.

Ethan's P.O.V.

My sister, Kaira, bumped into me as I walked inside my house. She has dressed up for the party. My sister is a lovely, charming, and generous woman, and I adore her.

"Going somewhere, Doll?" I asked her.

"I'm going to a party and will stay at my friend's house tonight." She told me, glancing at the watch.

"I think you're getting late. So go and enjoy, but don't drink too much."

She smiled and nodded at me before running out.

I went to my room and sent the message to my friends on the W******p group. Life is quite boring without a submissive.

Me: Anybody up to hang out tonight?

Dev: No, Bro. Busy with my Love, she is staying at my home tonight.

Dev replied instantly.

Max: I'm not in a mood.

Me: What happened to our party boy?

Dev: Is everything alright, Max?

Max: I broke up with Lara.

Stefan: What? Why?

Dev: What happened, Max? Why suddenly break up?

I'm likewise taken aback after learning this. By the way, Max's punishment of Lara in front of us last night was very unexpected because he had never done this before. He never publicly punished Lara.

Max: I just don't want to talk about this right now. Guys, I'll talk later.

Ethan: Okay, take care.

Dev: Dude, if you want to talk to us, you can call us anytime.

Alex: Max, I can understand your pain. I have gone through this. You will be fine.

Stefan: Bro, take care. When you get fine, we want a breakup party.

I instantly replied.

Ethan: Dude, can't you see Max is not fine?

Seriously, I don't like Stefan. I don't know what the hell he's doing in our group. He doesn't understand anybody's emotions.

Dev: Stefan, are you crazy? It's not the time to joke.

Alex: Shut up.

Stefan: Chill, guys. Lara was just his submissive, not his wife.

Ethan: Stefan, will you please just shut up?

Alex: But he had feelings for her.

Dev: Yes, Alex is right.

Max: No, she was just my submissive, and I had no feelings for her.

Max looks quite angry. What could have happened between them? I wondered.

Dev: We'll meet and talk, Max when you feel better.

The conversation ended here.

I called Dev and Alex on W******p to talk about Max.

Alex and Dev answered the call together, "Hello."

"Do you know what happened between Lara and Max that caused them to break up?" I inquired.

"No, Dude, I'm so shocked." Alex replied.

"The way Max treated Lara last night startled me as well." Dev was also clueless like us.

"Yes, I was also wondering if there was something wrong between them," I mused.

"I'm worried about Max, guys," Alex uttered in a concerned tone.

"Alex, relax. We'll find out everything and try to make them meet again if possible." I reassured him because I can't see my friend suffering.

"You're right, Ethan." Dev agreed to me.

I suddenly turned around as I felt like I heard Kaira's voice. I shook my head, ignoring it.

"So Dev, now bye. You enjoy yourself with your love." I said in a teasing tone.

"Yeah, you both carry on, bye." Dev disconnected the call.

Alex and I talked for a while, and then he hung up, saying he had important work.

If Eve is staying with Dev, then Anna must be alone at her home.

"I think I should visit my soon-to-be submissive." As I murmured, a mischievous smile flashed on my face.

Anna's P.O.V.

Today I'm alone at home. Eve called me up and informed me that she was staying with Dev. Sometimes I hate Dev for snatching my friend from me.

Now I'm in a loose top and shorts. I'm getting so bored. I'm just scrolling down I*******m reels.

Then I heard the doorbell and my eyes twinkled.

"I think God has sent someone for my entertainment." I squealed before running out of the room.

As I joyfully opened the door, my eyes widened in shock at seeing the person who was there. It's Ethan.

"Why are you staring at me like you have seen a ghost?" He asked, folding his arms across his broad chest, and I rolled my eyes.

"You aren't less than a ghost." As I snarled, he raised his brows in shock. "You're clinging to me like a ghost clings to someone. You follow me around like a ghost everywhere I go. No, Ghost will be better than you. You're worse than a ghost." I started blabbering.

"Will you please shut up?" He shouted, getting frustrated.

"No, I will speak. It's my house, so I can say how much I want. Who the hell are you to-" he shushed me by placing his finger over my lips and pulling me closer to him by grasping my waist with his other hand.

I lost myself in his mesmerising and enticing eyes. He is hypnotising me with his looks, and our proximity is taking my breath away.

Why the hell is his proximity affecting me so much?

He moved closer to my ear by blowing his warm breath on my cheek and sending chills down my spine.

"Won't you invite your guest inside, Butterfly?" As he asked in a husky voice, his breath stroked my neck.

I don't know why, but I felt irritated when he moved away.
