Chapter 31: A promise

Kahlan POV

I pulled back, as Eric kissed me the more, and desire clawed into me. "Are we seriously doing it on this table?"

Eric smiled, the action revealing his nicely set of teeth. "I will do it anywhere with you."

I laughed. " I don't want Naomi around you," I barely finish it when Eric's lips swallowed mine in another deep kiss.

"She won't," he said softly between the space of kissing me. "I can't wait to have you all to myself," his husky voice made my core tight.

He's really affecting me so much.

Smiling, I met his lips again for another kiss while my hands unbuttoned him, yet they were shaking and I had difficulty in getting a button off.

He laughed at my action. "Cute," he whispered in my ear, nibbled on it, and pulled back to pull away the shirt.

I stared at his chest again and the breath almost left me.

"You like what you see?" He teased.
