Chapter 72: Nothing but sadness

I couldn't think for a moment. It felt like my sense of thinking had been shut down.

Wait, that couldn't be correct, right? There's no way I would be pregnant.

I stood up suddenly and made a mental check before I turned to look at Eric again.

"You are lying!" I yelled as if I was merely trying to convince myself. Why would I be pregnant?

Maybe, I'm not being realistic. I intentionally had sex with Eric that day so that I could get pregnant. With that, I would be able to plan my escape and how to avenge my pack's death. So, technically speaking, I was expecting it.
