Chapter 64: A Farewell Party 

Sasha didn’t even notice that it had been raining for an hour.

Perhaps it had been raining since sundown, she thought.

Her body ached, deliciously ached as the remnants of their pleasure still whispers in her ears, her core.

The sound of the crackling fireplace made her blinked. The scent of the lavender-scented candles flooded her nose. ‘Perhaps it was Misty who lit those candles and made the fireplace come to life,’ she said to herself.

Sasha looked around. She’s in her bed.

They are in the bed.

How she found herself and Alain sleeping in the bedroom when the last memory that trickled her mind was that she was on the kitchen table—and on the foyer, kneeling before Alpha Alain as she gave him a satisfactory, mind-blowing job—will be a mystery to her until morning. Unless she asks Alain, which she hesitates.

Alpha Alain shifted beside her, his face solemn even when sleeping.
