Next day, we were standing in front of the king in the royal court. Subham's father used his influence and made us enter the court as early as possible. Of course, why wouldn't he? His son was dying.
We were standing in a really large hall with huge pillars. Many soldiers were standing here and there guarding the royal court. The King's throne was higher than the ground. Almost ten to twelve feet higher. They studded it with gold and gems. The ministers stood on both the sides in queues. King Rajavarma was sitting on that throne.
I was stunned after seeing the shine in his eyes. He was wearing a golden crown with gems studded in it. He had yellow skin, black eyes, dense moustache and beard. He must be in his forties. He was wearing a red surcoat, gold belt and tight stockings. I was sweating from my forehead and my palms. I had never met a king in my life.
"Tell me your problem," He said, sitting proudly on his throne.
I was looking at Bhaskar, hoping that he would be the one to talk to him. But he was not saying anything.
"Yes?" The minister Induvir said. He was wearing a yellow surcoat, a red turban and tight stockings. He had a thick gray moustache, a round face and big brown eyes.
"My king, our friend Subham..." I blurted out in a hurry.
'What happened to your friend?' The king asked.
"He is suffering from a disease. Doctor Yuddhrama is tending to him right now," I continued.
"Hm, go on."
"My king, he is not able to cure him. My friend is on the verge of death."
"Hm, if you want our royal doctors to treat him. Then I must tell you, if Yuddhrama cannot treat him then he has a very less chance of surviving. I don't want to give you false hope. But I will still fulfill it if this is your wish," He said.
"My king," I said. "We don't want the royal doctors."
"Then?"
"We want to go to The Great Black Sea in search of The Wish Fish."
Everyone present there started murmuring. The king raised his hand up. They all became silent when they got the signal.
"What are you saying?" He said with a puzzled expression.
"My king, this is the only way we can save our friend."
"Hm," He breathed. "You would not be able to come back alive. Do you know this?"
"Yes, my king."
"I do not want to send my precious people into the jaws of death, but if you really want this, I would not stop you."
He was just like the people said. A great king.
"What do you want from me then?" He asked.
"My king, we don't have a ship. Neither we have resources to survive in the sea," Bhaskar said, just at the moment I opened my mouth to say the same thing.
This bastard! What was the point in speaking now?
The king started thinking something. We all were looking at him silently, hoping he would not deny our request. "Hm, very well," He said. 'We will provide you all the resources. Rest assured."
We all were smiling after hearing this. We bowed our heads. "We will forever be grateful to you, my king," I said.
The king nodded before we walked out of the royal court.
The minister Induvir was a little confused by the king's decision. "My king, may I ask one thing?"
"Yes, Induvir. What is it?"
"My king, we all know that they will not survive if they go there. I know you, you would never let someone die after knowing this. But I am confused here. Why did you let them go?"
The king smiled. "Whatever you said is right. But what made me take this decision was their love for their friend. My Induvir, people even leave their parents nowadays. But they... they decided to bet their life on the line for a friend. Do you understand now, Induvir?"
"Yes, my king."
"Hm, I want you to put their names and this incident in our golden history book. So, that our upcoming generations will take life lessons from it."
"As you order, my king."
"One more thing, shift their friend to the royal palace. We will tend to him until they return."
"But my king? How do you know they will return?"
The king stood up. All the ministers and people present there also stood up in respect. The king was standing while holding his hands behind his back.
"I have faith in them. All the people who went there until now only had selfish reasons. They only wanted to fulfill their own desires and wishes by finding The Wish Fish. But they are different. They don't have any selfish reason. Now, have you understood the reason behind my faith in them?"
Induvir smiled in satisfaction. "Yes, my king."
The king then walked down the stairs and walked out of the court. The soldiers and ministers followed him.
My friends went to their homes to talk to their family on this matter. Of course, I could imagine the scene going on in their houses. Only I was left alone. I had nowhere to go. So, I just went to the river at the outskirts of the town. I sat on a stone at the bank. I don't know why but I missed my family way too much. I was having flashbacks of the precious moments I spent with them.
I remembered the time when I fell sick, and my father was awake the whole night taking care of me.
"Come on, son. You are strong. You can't be defeated by a fever."
No matter how hard the situation was, he was always smiling. His smiling face was moving around my eyes. One day, he was scolded and abused badly by his master (Subham's father). But he never showed even a bit of sorrow. He always smiled and drank his problems like wine.
Before I knew it, tears came flowing out of my eyes. I looked at the sky and smiled.
"Father, I am going to do something which might take my life. As you always taught me, I won't be defeated until my last breath."
My heart pained but my face had a smile. It was a peculiar condition I was in.
"Father, your son needs your blessings today. I know you must be watching me from wherever you are. Send my love to my mother. Tell her I love her. I love you too."
Next day, a wooden ship was prepared for us. We were ready to depart. Thousands of people came to see us off. I did not know that the word will be spread like a wildfire. How the hell they all came to know about our departure to the great black sea in just a day? Anyway, I felt overwhelmed. We were at the Bambai sea port. My friends were saying their last goodbyes to their families. I didn't know how they managed to convince them to go on a suicidal journey. Well, I don't care about that. The king was also present there with his minister Induvir and his bodyguards. I went to him, touched his feet, and asked for his blessings. They kept food and resources worth a month in the ship's storage. They gave us weapons like swords, bow and arrows and even spears to counter any kind of danger. They even gave us a sailor who was convicted of a crime few years ago. The king promised to set him free if we all return alive. He was an old man, must be in his sixties. He was wearing a green fur
It had been two days since we left. I and Surya observed the sea from the upper deck. Rest of them were sleeping in their rooms. The cold wind and the deep fragrance of the sea were making me enjoy the journey. The weather was not as cold as I thought. The warm sunlight falling on my skin made me have orgasms. "It has been two days now," I mentioned. "Yeah, still a long way to go," Surya said. "I don't know what we are going to face there. We not only have to be careful in The Great Black Sea but also around that old man Ghosavasu." I looked far in the sea. "He has not done any suspicious activity yet. Let's see what he does when we reach there." Surya picked up the spear which was kept leaning by the wall. "If he tries to do anything, I will shove this right into his ass." He showed the tip of the spear when he spoke. Surya was a childish guy. He always tries to have fun in any situation. Despite being an adult, he loved to play with toys. He was the mood maker of our group.
I almost peed in my pants after witnessing that pirate's strength. Bhaskar was lying in a pool of blood. Pirate Agnitejas was having a smirk on his face. "Let's see who is next." "Stay back!" Ghosavasu shouted to us. "He is more dangerous than you think!" "Do I know you?" Agnitejas asked, looking at Ghosavasu when he heard his warning to us. "No, but I know you," Ghosavasu answered. "I once fought you and your crew while travelling in the sea." "Oh, then I must have massacred your comrades," Agnitejas said with a smirk. "You..." Ghosavasu looked furious after hearing this. His red face and clenched fist were clearly showing that. "Hah, it seems I was right," Agnitejas grinned. "I must have tasted their warm blood too." "Stop..." "You were not able to save your comrades back then. I will massacre your comrades again. And you will not be able to do anything again." "Stop..." This was bad. I could sense Ghosavasu's anger. I knew Agnitejas was trying to provoke him, and he wa
It was night time. I, Surya and Rahul were tied together to a mast, while Ghosavasu, Ashok and Govind were tied to another. Agnitejas and his crewmates were drunk and were having a party on our ship. Seriously? And we just watched them eating away all our food and resources we from the king. "We have to think of something to get out of here," I whispered. "And where would we go? We are in middle of the sea," Surya said. "There is no way we are getting out of here." Whatever he was saying was correct. There was no way for us to get out of there. Still, I did not want to lose hope and die a miserable death. "There must be a way." "Arsh is right." Rahul agreed with me. "We should not lose hope. We should think of something." I was the one who had the most negative thoughts a while ago. Now, I was the one motivating my friends to not lose hope. I did not want to die... Not yet... Not like this, at least... They were singing, dancing and jumping here and there. Agnitejas sat on h
I still could not believe that it was happening in real. She was still holding my thing. But now... She was headless. I was terrified as hell. I could not think straight. It took me moments to realize it happened in real. Agnitejas removed her body that had dropped on mine. The feeling of her hand leaving my thing gave me chills. The smell of the blood was turning my mind blank. "Men!" Agnitejas shouted. Two of his crew members came running. They also got a bit scared after looking at the situation in the room. "Dump these in the sea," Agnitejas ordered, throwing her head on the floor. They picked her body and head and went out of the room. I was still lying on the bed with a terrified look on my face. The moment when her head fell on my chest revolved around my eyes. Agnitejas walked out of the room with his women. Pirates came to the deck with a head and a torso with them and my friends spotted at them. "Oye, isn't that head..." Rahul mentioned with a shocked look on his
I was lying naked on the bed, and did not want to stand up or do anything. I just wanted it all to be a dream and lie there on the bed. For the first time in my life, I was terrified of someone. I was terrified of that Pirate Agnitejas. "How could we beat him even? Bhaskar was no match for him, even that strong old man Ghosavasu was beaten," These thoughts were going on in my head. "And... And he just killed the girl I was about to lose my virginity with." As I was thinking all this, I heard someone's voice. "Son, do not fall to despair yet. It is too soon for that." I sat up and looked around to look if someone was there, but there was no one. "You have to find the wish fish and break the curse. Do not lose your hope until you do it." Where was the voice coming from? What curse was he talking about? "Who are you? Show yourself," I called out. "I am not there. Only you can hear my voice right now." What? Is something like this even possible? I thought. "Who are you?" I as
Govind, Ashok and Ghosavasu observed their surroundings with keen eyes. The pirates were drunk and were not in their senses now. They had a chance now to carry out their plan. "Govind, Ashok, we need to get our hands on any kind of sharp object, so that we can cut the rope," Ghosavasu said. "But where would we find a sharp object?" Ashok asked in return. "Look ahead," Ghosavasu said. "That pirate is drunk and he possesses a dagger. If somehow we manage to get our hands on it, we will be able to break out from here." "But how would we get our hands on it?" Ashok asked again. He was not the sharp one. "Just wait and watch," Govind said with a smirk. I was now alone. It was my chance to save my friends. I had to think of something. I slowly walked out of the room hoping those pirates do not spot me. "Sheesh, where are my women!?" Agnitejas shouted just at the moment I was about to come out in the open to look for my friends. I heard him and ran back inside the room. Agniteja
We were fighting tirelessly. Someone was approaching Govind from behind in the meantime. It was one of those pirates. Agnitejas saw him and smiled. "So, you are not going to leave her that easily." "No, I am not," Govind responded. "Hm, okay," Agnitejas said. "Why does he look so carefree?" Govind asked to himself. "What is he scheming?" The man behind Govind lifted his sword to swing it. Agnitejas was now having an evil grin as he was sure of his victory, but suddenly, his grin vanished and turned into shock. The man suddenly fell down on the floor before he could manage to even do anything. It was Bhaskar who hit him from behind as saved Govind. Govind sensed something behind his back. He turned and saw a guy lying on the floor, and found Bhaskar, holding his chest from one hand and taking heavy breaths. Govind smiled at him. "It is good to see that you are okay." "Hah, what are you talking about?" Bhaskar said sarcastically. "What can happen to me? Do not forget, I am the
