People wondered what those two were saying to each other. They expected Dylan to come out with a frown or a sad face but he looked as calm as ever. Then some people started to doubt if he truly didn't have a wolf. They expected someone who is about to be disgraced and dethroned should be sorrowful.

Dylan sat down on his throne and surprisingly he made Selena sit beside him. Selena didn't want to do this but Dylan wouldn't leave her. Frown wasn't only in the eyes of the council of elders but also some people from the pack. They felt that she was not yet the Luna Queen and she was seated in front of them like she was. While some didn't even see it as a big deal. Some even commented that it was Selena's beauty that made the Alpha King fall for her.

As usual, elder Zinli was the one who came forward when Dylan was fully seated to start the questioning.

"We all know the reason we are all gathered here so I wouldn't beat around the bush" he paused looking at the crowd before he continued.
