Destined to the Alpha King (Selena's plight)

"You can't be serious!"

"Yes, I am. She is the reason our pack is being controlled by lycans right now."

The one speaking has her eyes full of spite.

"No wonder she is hated by all."

"Why won't they? Will you love someone who costs you pain?"

Countless times Selena watched her sister bad mouth her again in the pack house. Not that she blamed her. If what happened didn't happen years ago all these wouldn't have happened to her.

Selena was seated in a corner. She just finished turns of work and now she has just a little time to rest before starting to make dinner. 

It was good enough that the whole pack doesn't take lunch, if not she would have dropped dead from cooking excessively.

Just then that alluring pleasant smell came. This made Selena know that the Alpha is coming. She quickly moves closer to the wall to hide.

Entering the park hall, Marcus, who is the alpha of the vail pack, walked in, in his alpha regal with his Beta Farrell beside him. He had walked a distance before he paused and sniffed in. He then turned in Selena's direction.

Fear gripped her because she knew his seeing her was going to cause her pain. He hated her so much.

Hyrene, when she saw him, was very happy and she ran and hugged him.

"Alpha" she called.

Marcus was still glaring at Selena. Her head was bowed praying he would let her be.

Then Marcus decided to punish her in the worst way. He pulled Hyrene closer and kissed her deeply.

There was a huge pain slicing through Selena's heart. She tried to endure the pain but the pain was so great she had to hold her chest but she didn't scream.

After they had their fill, Marcus broke the kiss and left. Hyrene looked at her and laughed.

If you must know, Marcus is Selena's fated mate but then he hated her like she was the enemy.

Selena must have made a mistake but then she was a little child who knew nothing. Selena didn't even remember what they had accused her of.

Not only the pack hated her but her own family.

She's from the Beta family of the pack And she is also a female Betta and could have been a Luna today if she wasn't as hated as the dunghill.

Selena had thought that even if the pack wouldn't understand that what happened years ago was because she was a child, her family should have understood. At least her mother but then they hated her more.

The one person who wouldn't treat her like trash is her paternal grandmother. She was the reason Selena wasn't dead already.

Since the incident when she was nothing but a five-year-old, her parents have abandoned her in the pack house to be treated as a slave.

No one ever treated her well, not even the younger ones. Even those that weren't around or yet born when what happened happened.

They had made everyone turn like a viper to her.

Her grandmother has told her that all these would stop when she finds a mate. So Selena's hope was always in that but then another tragedy happened.

It was when her sister Hyrene was in college. Her mother has sent her to go bring a textbook her sister forgot at home. 

Selena didn't know why she can't borrow from the school library and then come home to use hers. She didn't say this because she knew that things would be bad for her if she did.

During this time, her wolf just came out. She was very happy that at last her wolf came. Her wolf too didn't hate her so much not to come. She had waited for it for twenty-two years and now it finally came. Even though it was a weak pale one.

Selena wasn't so worried about her weak wolf. She knew her wolf will be strengthened if she gets away from her pack.

As she walked inside the school arena, a wonderful masculine smell hit her. Even her wolf jumped for joy. Their time of escape comes.

Selena saw males gathered and she couldn't diversify which one has the smell she has in her nose. So she quickly went to give her sister what she was sent and ran out like a bolting fire. She didn't even mind the sound of Hyrene behind her.

When she got out, the smell was still there and Selena was very happy that it was. Now there was only one male left. Looking at the back of the male, she shrank.

She quickly looked around to see if there was anyone else there but then she didn't see anyone. 

Noticing her presence, the male turned to look at her. He had a wicked smile.

"This can't be happening!" Selena screamed in her head.

Not the male that hated her most in the pack. Not the one that tortured her most.

"Hello Mate," he said.

He is Alpha Marcus. The Alpha of the Vail pack.

The war that made them hate her so much, took away his mother and paralyzed his father. So he got to be the Alpha of our pack at a very little age.

But then, Selena thought that she had also offended the moon goddess that would make her mate no other person than the one who hated her the most. The person who would prefer to see her suffer than die.

"There is a mistake, Alpha," she said, shaking my head.

All the hope about her having freedom was shattered and now she is condemned to everlasting suffering if Alpha didn't reject her.

Marcus looked at her and within a few seconds, she was pinned to the wall.

"Not in your life would you be my Luna" he whispered to her ears.

" I didn't dream of it either," Selena said.

This earned her a slap. 

"How dare you talk back to me?" He growled.

Her wolf bared her neck in subjection.

Marcus wickedly didn't reject her. He then took Hyrene to be his woman. Although he hasn't marked her, he made sure to do things that will hurt Selena.

Every night, Marcus will sleep with different females and this will bring pain to Selena's body. Selena had tried to reject Marcus as a mate but then an Alpha can't be rejected by anyone.

Marcus had mocked her so hard when she tried rejecting him. Marcus had made sure to tie her down in his room and have her watch as he sleeps with turns of women.

Selena had screamed all through the night. She had gotten so weak that she wished for death but death wouldn't give in to her because it also hated her.
