Ashley had just stepped out of Mirabella’s room, her cheerful voice echoing down the hall.

“Come on, Bella, get yourself ready. Let me go to my room and get ready and you’re not escaping it, so get ready.”

Mirabella sighed softly to herself, dragging her feet toward the small dresser. “The girl is sure lively,” she muttered, “she has way too much energy.”

By the time both of them left the mansion, Ashley was already bubbling with excitement. The driver drove them into town and they wasted no time hopping from one shop to another.

They were going through the gorgeous dresses in a big boutique when Ashley pulled a red dress from the rack, her eyes sparkling. “Oh my God, Bella, look at this beauty. You surely need this one. This will look so hot on you.”

Mirabella shook her head quickly. “Ashley, I don’t need that. I don’t even wear this kind of thing.”

Ashley shoved it into her hands anyway. “Still. It can still come in handy someday. You’re buying it. Period. No argument.”

As she moved his hand to her breast, Hunter knew she desperately needed his touch no matter how small. He squeezed a little and his cock jerked at how soft her breast was and her little moans. He could go further. He could squeeze harder but he wouldn't. Not until she tells him she wants him with her own words.Instead he whispered again in her ear, “should I press harder? Tell me what you want, baby." As if his voice brought her back to her senses, she slapped his hand away from her breast and looked at him over her shoulder “what are you doing?” She asked as if she wasn't the one who had placed his hand there.he chuckled “you placed my hand there. Forgotten?” He mocked."Jesus just stop whatever you are doing. Stop it." Feigning innocence, he asked "what am I doing?”"Stop trying to seduce me. And let me go" she half shouted. “You can sleep here, I will sleep in Rena's room" "That's the problem baby. I want you here, where I am” he whispered and closed his eyes. "If you go to R

When Mirabella finished taking her bath, the warm water eased some of the tension in her shoulders, but her mind refused to rest. She wrapped herself in a towel, staring at her reflection in the mirror for a long moment. Her cheeks still held a faint blush and it had nothing to do with the heat of the water. The thought of Hunter being somewhere under the same roof, probably with that smug grin on his face, made her both angry and nervous. She dried herself slowly, slipped into one of her usual nightshirts — a soft, long singlet-like shirt that brushed her upper thighs and left most of her legs bare. She hated sleeping in heavy clothes. It was her comfort. Her little habit since she began living alone, unlike when she used to sleep in Hunter's room, she dares not sleep with anything on. But tonight, it felt strangely dangerous, like wearing temptation itself. She turned off the bathroom light, walked into her dimly lit room, and slid under the covers. The sheets were cool against her

Mirabella stared at him long. “I didn’t run from home,” she said, her tone tight and defensive. “I simply ran away from you. From your control.”Hunter’s jaw flexed. He shifted a little on the couch. He looks composed unlike her. “I see what you’re doing,” he said quietly. “You don’t want to acknowledge it’s home. You don’t want to seem vulnerable.”Her heart thumped fast in her chest. “It’s not my home, Hunter,” she said. “You literally kidnapped me and took me to your mansion. It’s not my home. It’s yours.”Hunter took a slow step forward, his eyes fixed on her. “It’s not a home anymore,” he murmured. “Not without you. We’ve done so many things there together. I thought you were getting used to it — to me. Even Ashley and everyone at the club thought so.”Mirabella folded her arms, holding herself as though his voice carried weight enough to shake her. “I was good and loved the club before you came into the picture. You came and turned everything upside down. You took control of my

Hunter groaned as she moved against him again, her body twisting in his arms as she tried to break free. Her fingers clawed at his wrist, trying to loosen his grip, but he didn’t budge.“Let me go,” she demanded, her voice tight with frustration. When her struggling didn’t work, she turned her head sharply and bit down on his shoulder. Hard. Hoping to disstabilize him.He hissed through his teeth, his cock jacked and pulsed and became harder and instead of loosening his grip, he tightened it around her and this time he rocked against her moving ass. The friction was everything and more. It was what he needed. He could feel the blood in his body rushing to dick. “Damn it, Bella,” he muttered under his breath, the sound rough and deep. He could feel every shift of her body against his, every tremor of resistance. The air between them felt charged, alive. After a while of her struggling, he finally released her from his grip but before she could move away, he was already on his feet, he

Beverly’s face was filled with shock and disbelief after Mirabella had narrated everything — every dark twist of her life, from her father’s debt to the moment she was taken by Hunter.“Oh my God!” Beverly gasped, placing both hands over her mouth. “So the whole ‘you are payment for your dad’s debt’ thing still exists and actually happened to you? Like for real? ? You were literally kidnapped by him?”Her wide eyes shimmered with disbelief, but her mouth soon twisted into something else — a dreamy smile. Typical Beverly.Mirabella sighed and looked at her friend. “You are not supposed to smile right now.”“I’m sorry, but come on!” Beverly said, waving her hands dramatically. “That’s like straight out of a dark romance novel. The big bad ruthless and handsome Mafia lord who takes what he wants, who’s all dominant and sinful—girl, it’s wild!”“It’s not wild, Bev. It’s traumatic.” Mirabella gave her a flat stare, rubbing her forehead as though the whole conversation was giving her a head

The day had gone by slowly, with Mirabella doing what she did best — keeping herself busy so she wouldn’t have to think too much. She spent the morning cleaning the kitchen and toilets, scrubbing the counters, and sweeping the floors. Then she moved to the laundry, sorting out the dirty clothes that had been piling up for days. She poured detergent into the washing machine, stuffed the clothes in, and stood by as the machine rumbled to life. The smell of soap filled the air, mixing with the faint scent of lemon air freshener she’d sprayed earlier.Hunter was literally everywhere. He followed her around like a lost puppy — or more like a nosy shadow. When she went to clean the bathroom, he was there holding the mop, insisting he could do it better. When she tried to hang the clothes out on the balcony, he came right behind her, “helping” her peg them up, though he clearly had no idea what he was doing. Every time she reached for something, his hand brushed hers. Every time she turned a
