ログインMorning after seems to have gone well. Thank you for reading - I hope you are enjoying Discovering the Wolf.
“We have a lot of years and stories to catch up on; you won’t begrudge me monopolising Finn for them will you?” GeGe asks, her eyes sparkle as she looks between Zale and I sitting closer together even though we are on different chairs.“Of course, not GeGe – have at him.” I wink back at her, and she giggles delighted as my response. Pops grunts and gives me a perceptive shake of his head but I can see his gruffness is all for show, he’s enjoying the banter between the two of us, seeing our bond to each other grow stronger.I zone out a little as Finn continues to share photos with my grandparents, telling the story behind each one. It’s nice in a weird way to see them getting on with him. I wish Dad and Anders were here as well, but their shift won’t finish for another two days.“And that’s how pizza Fridays and foot rubs started.” Finns finishes and Pops and GeGe are laughing. Finn gives me a knowing grin, and I hold my beer up to him in salute. Foot rub Fridays started from him los
“Honestly, Zale was the one that helped me start to look again. He has some…connections and recognised the crest on the patch I was found with. He managed to contact my grandparents, and we had it confirmed this morning with a DNA test.” I’m leaving out a lot of other details, but I haven’t lied to him. He tenses up a little as I mention Zale, the two of them have an odd reaction to each other it seems.“Zale knows your grandparents, that’s a wild coincidence Wills.” He says shaking his head in disbelief.“I know, it’s insane – seems a bit like fate – like we were meant to meet.” Zale’s voice slides over to the two of us as he walks around from behind the hedge separating the two driveways. He’s dressed in jeans and a black polo shirt, and I feel my libido sit up and take instant notice. When he gets close he holds out a hand to me, hauling me up to stand, his hand sliding behind my head and giving me a soft kiss before whispering. “Hey baby.”I kiss him but firmly pull back and give
Her mouth has softened and opened and a soft snore escapes her lips. I bite my lip hard to keep from laughing. She snores, and goddess help me but it’s adorable.I can’t help myself; I aim my phone carefully and take a quick photo of her, then turn to video and record a few seconds of the chainsaw sound that is coming from her. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with either yet, but I know they will come in handy in the future – something to tease her with – just between the two of us.Satisfied with my additions to the photo file I have started on my phone I lay back and read through some council reports until it’s an hour before Finn will arrive. She’s still sleeping against me, her snoring comes and goes and it’s time for me to wake her up.[“Willow?”] I link to her softly. She snuffles against my chest a little but doesn’t wake.[“Willow, baby it’s time to wake up.”] I try again, this time giving her shoulder a little shake as well. She grumbles back, stretching and yawning, her ha
While she didn’t pass out after the healing, and despite her protests that she was fine, it’s pretty clear that she still needs rest and that any healing she does will still drain her energy. It’s something that I will have to keep a track of and more than likely have to enforce with her.Her reckless streak is going to give anxiety- I can already tell. She’s settled back into a deep sleep when my phone vibrates with an incoming call. I lift the phone carefully to check if I need to take it or can ignore it and link one of the others take it.It’s Conall – I definitely can’t ignore it.“Hey Conall.” I whisper, keeping an eye on Wills to make sure my talking isn’t waking her.“Zale, where’s Wills - she’s not answering my texts or calls- I heard she did another healing.” He demands and I can hear the restrained worry in his voice.“Don’t worry she didn’t pass out but she is resting– I’m with her right now, keeping a watch over her.” She stirs slightly, maybe hearing the tone in her dad’
“Yes we suspect that we might be mates.”“I thought so, well Gerald and I will expect a formal request from him before any official mating is completed – make sure he is clear on that.” GeGe takes a sip from her cup of tea, giving both Anders, Colin and I a pointed look over the rim of her cup. I feel it, the strength of her Luna aura and stare at her carefully. It’s like there is a shimmer in the air – it’s actually beautiful.“We will ensure that Alpha Zale follows the proper protocols and respects Luna.” Colin assures her.“Now that’s out in the open, tell me more about Finn.” She puts the cup down and turns back to me. The shift in topic and mood is startling. I pull my phone out and scroll through some photos until I find a picture of him to show her, in his uniform. He looks good in his uniform. She takes the phone from me and gives a cheeky whistle. “My, my, my, I do admire a man in uniform.”The phone is snatched out of her hand in a second and Pops is standing in front of he
“Ok, great. See you then. Bye.” I end the call and then stand without a word. I walk straight over to Zale, grab his hand and march him into the kitchen. He doesn’t resist, just follows behind me as he should after that display. I pull him over the kitchen table, pull out a chair and then push him into it. “Sit, and don’t say anything yet.”He doesn’t utter a word, just continues to look at me with a mixture of betrayal and bewilderment. I take his head in my hands, lean in and give him a hard, wet, possessive kiss. I dominate him with the kiss, pushing my tongue into his mouth aggressively, it takes him all of three seconds to engage and kiss me back, his hands grabbing my waist and pulling me in tighter to him. I pull back slowly to see his eyes have the fleck of ice blue in them, his wolf close to the surface. “Ok, before we continue you need to get a handle on your reactions to Finn.”He growls again and I thread my hand into his hair and pull his head back hard, so he has to look
“Not without either a Pack or a Clan bond. Otherwise, our first meeting would have been very different and probably even more of a disaster.” My father and Thomas descend the stairs just as he makes the last statement, his expression rueful.“What would have made it a bigger disaster?” Thomas probes
“No!” He shouts. “Don’t hang up Wills – stay on the line with me until Rodrigues is there. Please.”“Ok, Ok - I won’t hang up.” I promise and take the block again – the car still following me.“Thank you – Rodrigues in standing on central street – I want you pull over and pick him. He’s standing nea
“You all want me back under security detail, don’t you?” She demands, her voice low and annoyed. Clearly, she has had conversations of this type on more than one occasion and senses that she might not have the backing of her father and Thomas this time. [“Let’s tread carefully now – ease her into t
“Wills?” I feel the soft pressure of Zales hand on my shoulder and paste a wide smile on my face as I turn to look at him as he says. “I thought that was you.”Finn frowns as he looks up at Zale, dressed smartly in a charcoal suit, his maroon shirt slightly unbuttoned, revealing the strong column of
