Chap 16: Surprise Attack

As per the plan, the Cliff twins met Triston in his room and ordered him to meet them at the college storeroom the next day.

Triston recalled the last incident wherein he had been beaten by the twins and his friends in the basement storeroom and asked, " W-Why do you want to meet there?"

" Why else? We are in a mood for some fun, " Fred smirked.

Triston was confused because if they wanted to hit him, they could have done it right here at his home. Why were they calling him to the college storeroom?

"Why are you quiet?" Jeff spat, kicking Triston's chair. " Are you thinking of hiding behind that orphan girl tomorrow?"

" I-I..."

" If he doesn't come..." Fred said. " ... then should we target that girl like last time?"

" Do you mean kidnapping her again?" Jeff asked Fred.

"No...No... I will come. Don't hurt E-Evelyn," Triston pleaded. He was trembling, trying to control his emotions.

" You better," the twins threatened and left his room.

The next day at college, Triston told Evelyn that
