Chapter 615

Mark rushed home after spending the night outside celebrating a successful negotiation.

As soon as he stepped in the drawing room, he found his dearest son running unsteadily toward him, and he quickly scooped him up in his arms before he could fall. "Oh, be careful, my dear boy! You'll fall flat on your face…"

"Hmph! I'd never fall!" Bob smiled, but he soon burst into tears as he remembered a certain someone and pointed a pudgy finger at the dining room, "That bad woman hurt me and beat me. Get her out of here! I don't like her!"

Mark carried Bob into the dining hall to find Renee advancing on them and immediately felt a pang of guilt. "Oh, Renee. Have you eaten?"

Renee smiled as she stared pointedly at Bob. "Not feeling an appetite. Can't eat with all the ruckus my brother was making."

Slowly walking to the couch, she took a sip of her tea and reclined against her seat, picking up a pillow while asking, "So? Is there something you want to tell me?"
