Theo's POV

I always have a bad feeling.

I’ve had this ominous feeling lately. Like a heavy stone hanging over my heart.

These past few days, I’ve been uneasy.

Ever since she sent me that screenshot, I've always wanted to have a good chat with her, to clarify things. And seeing her last night only made things worse.

She has blocked all my contacts from her phone. It is unlike her.

Olivia had always been gentle and warm and would never have the heart to do so.

Was it because she was angry with me?

Last time in the hospital, I saw her talent and ability. She is so outstanding in her field, and I actually feel a little proud. However, I also witnessed how other men coveted her.

Surely, Olivia's charm is irresistible, but seeing another man openly confess to her incited feelings of hate and abandonment in me.

Why did I feel jealous?

To this day, my mind kept on playing that scene.

Maybe it's because we've been married for long and I've become used to her being my wife. My possessiv

  • Divorced To Steal His Heart    185. Finally Give In

“If you access this from all angles, it’s actually unfair…”They went on…“Dr. Natasha deserves that position and not that newbie doctor who thinks she’s better than all the rest.”“I heard she’s not a newbie here. She was sent abroad for five years for an important project. That project isn’t grand enough to win her the promotion. The hospital management is being unfair to Dr. Natasha.”“While she was on that project, wasn’t Dr. Natasha saving countless lives in this hospital? Dr. Olivia isn’t the only person who can perform complex surgeries. Didn’t Dr. Natasha just perform the surgery for Theo Wellington’s mother? It hasn’t been long since she performed that complex surgery for his grandfather too. Remember, everyone thought that he would die, and even the media spoke about it. But Dr. Natasha managed to save his life.”“To think that even Theo Wellington was present at that award ceremony despite the rumors yesterday. Something is definitely fishy here. Who exactly is Dr. Olivia?”

  • Divorced To Steal His Heart    184. His True Character

Urgh!Theo again!?My forehead hurt, and I took a step back and rubbed it slightly. It’s too early for him to be here. Has he come to cause more trouble for me?Lifting my head, my eyes met his blank stare. Theo didn’t glance at me for a second time, and as if we hadn’t bumped into each other, he side-stepped and walked past me.Huh?My lips parted in shock, and I glanced behind me to find him walking away. That’s strange. “Dr. Olivia, have we turned into ghosts?” Alisha exclaimed. “Why does everyone keep walking past us? Th-That’s- That’s Theo Wellington, am I right?”It’s unlike him.Theo had never walked past me like this before. He would have said something to provoke me. Maybe I’d complained to his grandfather last night. Grandpa had probably warned him, and that’s why. “I hope we haven’t offended him, Dr. Olivia…” Alisha added. “There were rumors going around that you provoked him yesterday; however, everyone stopped speaking about it after he personally handed you the award

…Olivia’s POV. I arrived at the hospital in a hurry and looked at my wristwatch.Thank goodness I wasn’t late for work, although I’d thought I would be. The Wellingtons’ Mansion was very far from the hospital, and the journey took almost an hour. That’s right. I also don’t know how I woke up and found myself at Grandpa’s place this morning. I could faintly recall that I drove there last night, and because Dave was asleep already, Grandpa and I had some conversations.Whatever we discussed was a blur in my brain. When I sobered up this morning, I couldn’t remember a lot of things that I’d said. That’s why I found it strange when Grandpa apologized to me this morning and assured me that Theo would never disturb me again.“Good morning, Dr. Olivia.”“You’re looking stunning today, Dr. Olivia.”“Dr. Olivia, congratulations once again. Your achievement is a motivation to all of us.”“Did an emergency come up last night? Was that why you left the party? Dr. Ethan returned to the restaur

I sighed heavily and answered, “Yes, Grandpa.”Of course, I go to work every day. I’m just returning from the company, in fact, because I headed there after spending half of the day at the hospital.“But it doesn’t seem like it,” Grandpa replied. “When you were busy giving Olivia a hard time at her workplace, how could you focus on your own work?”What exactly did Olivia go and tell Grandpa?I didn’t even get her fired, and even increased her rank. Wasn’t she supposed to be grateful?“Well, you can go ahead and keep troubling her,” Grandpa continued. “But the next time you try it, I will hold a Stakeholders’ meeting and get you demoted to a COO position. Even better, you will become jobless. A responsible President of a company shouldn’t be going around, troubling an innocent woman!!!”And the phone beeped!Grandpa had hung up.I didn’t resume walking upstairs but spent several minutes leaning against the stairs’ railing and staring at my phone. That evil woman. For every little thin

  • Divorced To Steal His Heart    181. Meddling Too Much

… Theo’s POV.I returned home to the usual emptiness. The servants had long retired to their quarters, the bodyguards were outside, and a cold dinner was waiting for me on the dining table. My thoughts traveled to several weeks ago. Although Dave wasn’t a noisy boy, his presence made the house more alive. He would follow me to the company. We would always eat together. Despite his harsh remarks, I never got bored of his company. Sigh! That evil woman, Olivia. She would do anything to separate me from my son. Because my grandfather favored her, she’d use every opportunity to turn him against me. Including my own son…Strangely, I’m not a bit satisfied despite what happened today. The best way to insult someone is to demean what makes them proud. Still, provoking Olivia wasn’t satisfying enough. Besides, that thick-skinned woman didn’t show a single sign of being provoked. As I walked upstairs, my phone rang and I paused.Tania’s name flashed on the screen. Why’s she calling me at

Under the curious gazes, I was speechless.I couldn’t help but get mad at Alisha, and as if just realizing what she’d done, she covered her mouth and whispered, “Oopsies.”Ethan cleared his throat, breaking the awkward silence as everyone eagerly waited for our response. He replied, “Dr. Olivia and I are just friends. Stop jumping to conclusions.”Although nobody appeared to believe him, they all nodded concurrently. I didn’t expect Ethan to give them that response. It’s probably because he didn’t want to make me feel uncomfortable. The party continued, but my thoughts kept on straying. I managed to eat some of the food, and as I started sipping from my wine glass, I couldn’t stop.I didn’t know when I drank it all at once. That was a bad idea, because the wine seemed to have an effect on my mood, which worsened immediately.Everyone chatted heartily, and the whole room shook with laughter, but I couldn’t laugh along.Gradually, my mind traveled to the events that occurred earlier t
