Lillian’s POV

I think I have fully calmed down after confronting Rena’s father and talking to her… That I have poured out all of my anger, and burned it clean through my words.

But when I sit at the long table across from Keegan and the rest of the high-ranking members from Oaisis Pack and Moonstone Pack for the official meeting, I realise… that I am far from calm.

The fire inside me is still raging, and let me just say… It’s burning bigger and bigger every passing second.

Craig sits beside me, his hand tapping on my shoulder to steady me when he feels me shaking with anger, while on my right is Maddox with her arms crossed and lips pressed into a thin, furious line.

Meanwhile, Drake stays standing behind Craig with a grim expression. It’s as though he’s ready to attack at any moment.

Guess I am not the only one burning with anger.

Opposite Craig sits Keegan.

The Alpha of the Moonstone Pack.

Wes’s Alpha… Rena’s mate’s Alpha.

Being as that asshole is under his pack, he’s the only one w

  • Divorcing The Alpha: Now He Won't Let Me Go   Chapter 104

Lillian’s POVIt’s been a few days. I will not lie. Standing in front of my mirror, I still see the mark lingering on my skin as it had the night before. But I will not let it own me.This time. It’s just a scar from a wound of my past. Especially, today… I will not let Keegan, the scar, or anything from the past distract and ruin my day today. Not with that marvellous scent of pines, mints, and sandalwood rotating my nostrils, not with the chill of late morning wind brushing my skin, and especially not when the beat of a hundred paws thundering across the forest floor echoes beside me as I run among them in my human form.Though I haven’t shifted yet, I’m still a she-wolf, and being wolfless will not hinder me from participating in this most-awaited tradition of every werewolf–the quarterly pack run.As stingy as it is, this is my first time actually being part of this tradition. Of being able to run with them.Back then, I ran to the side slowly with my head down, not wanting to fee

Lillian’s POVEven with Maddox speaking on my behalf and the recruits standing behind me, the taste of Sienna’s words still clings like ash in my mouth. I already continue working like how the rest of them continue with their jobs, but her accusation still echoes loudly around us… or maybe, just in my head. But it isn’t because it’s cruel, but because they aren’t entirely wrong.I lose control… there’s no denying it.And so does Keegan. We let it happen. Some can say it’s just a kiss… But even just a kiss or a simple handhold is a betrayal.Heck, I am even jealous wreck when I see them having dinner. I can only imagine how much it has shattered her when she smells my scent lingering on Keegan last night.Because of this, the day feels so long and heavy. But I still drag myself into continuing with it.Maddox remains at my side, helping me out and trying to make sure I am alright. She tries to ask me what it is about, but I can’t open my lips to tell her anything. What should I say? I

Lillian’s POVI should never ever ever ever drink again!I curse myself silently as I stand up from my bed with messy hair, a skull-wrecking headache, and a heartache as I remember last night’s event.Looking around my house, that is now covered with the mess I made last night – empty glasses and wine bottles, knocked out furniture I stumbled on as I went back to my room last night, and some wrappers of snacks I managed to devour from my frustration after seeing Keegan.I look at everything and flashes of every single detail of my stupidity curse through my brain, making me shake my head in disagreement. With what has happened last night, I should have known peace would not last past sunrise. The morning is barely begun when the door to the Sanctuary slams open like a storm kicks it in… Well, it more likely does, but it doesn’t come with big wind, just big egos, a bitchy attitude and in the form of a blazing woman.A dozen heads jerk toward the sound of it, mine included. I’m mid-disc

  • Divorcing The Alpha: Now He Won't Let Me Go   Chapter 101

Lillian’s POVCraig is one of the kindest people I have ever known. The man I’ll trust, despite how much Keegan has ruined my trust in men. But it’s the kind of dependency that shouts friendship rather than anything else. His hand is supporting me from hurting myself and tripping or sliding down the steps of the porch. My friendship with him… is something I don’t want to lose. But for one moment… one stupid, wine-soaked, unguarded moment, I seem to forget all the reasons I have left.I forget what it feels like to be left behind, and forget whose name my heart still echoes when it's quiet despite all my reason. The drowsiness and intoxication are building up on me and almost make me lose all my reason. But then… I feel it.I feel the warm breath that brushes my cheek, and our closeness registers in my brain. My eyes blink, and I see his face coming back to who he really is.It’s Craig. Not Keegan.Feeling that everything here isn’t right, I pull away.I feel the instant absence of fir

Keegan’s POVI haven’t been home in weeks.I have made countless excuses. From paperwork, late inspections, and urgent reports. But the truth is more straightforward than that.I’ve been avoiding it. I’m avoiding the truth that I’ll be marrying soon, that I’ll officially be someone’s husband. Someone who is not Lillian. For days, this office of mine in the pack house has been my cave. I’ve been busy with piles of work that don’t even need my urgent attention, and I even made a new proposal that isn’t needed. All of it so I can prove that there’s a legit reason I can’t make time.My phone, sitting on the side of the desk, keeps vibrating and flashing with notifications as Sienna’s messages pile up. I got tired of opening it after reading a couple of messages that all revolved around our marriage preparation. It’s all about the florist confirming arrangements, caterers asking for final counts, questions about cake flavour, centrepiece heights and seating charts. All things I should care

Lillian’s POVAnd just like that, the days before Keegan’s wedding blur into task after task as I keep myself moving.Every task I make, each becomes more demanding than the last. I’m overloaded with work, partly because the sanctuary just opened, but mostly because if I stop for even a moment, the silence will creep into me… and I can’t afford that.I can’t afford to have my mind filled with thoughts about Keegan and his upcoming wedding with the woman he replaced me with. So, what I do instead is run numerous drills with the training camp recruits after attending to administrative matters in the sanctuary. I haggle with suppliers for the clinic, draft flyers for the various new activities, and finalise the courses we’ll be starting in a few days. Courses such as counselling, a self-defence course, and an art class. All of which will be taught by warriors and other educated guests.Slowly, we believe that we will achieve our goal – to empower women and make them independent. In the
