Feeling shame crawl all over my skin, I grabbed my keys and bag from the counter and turned my back on Ace.

As I set foot outside to where my Toyota was parked, my brows creased when I saw the flat tires. I was sure that my car was in excellent condition when I went to sleep last night. Since it was not brand new when I bought it, I had to take it to the mechanic for checking. To add to that, my twin is mad with cars. She checks my car every other day for bugs. ‘For security measures’ was her words.
The door on my house shut and my anger flared up when I noticed the slash on the tires. It looks like a knife was used to cause these flat tires, and I have a pretty good idea who the culprit is.
