Ava froze in her state. Her heart was not racing for her happiness, but she was scared.

She was afraid of what had happened to her in the past.

Just thinking about a relationship, she remembered how her last relationship ended up.

She turned around and looked at Dane.

His face was closer to hers. He stared at her, waiting for her response.

But when he noticed her hesitation, he moved a step back and said,
