'Oh, the nerve of you Joey. You don't cease to amaze me with your stupid guts' Susan snapped at her stepsister after Joey threatened to burn her mother's clothes. The closer Richard Williams approached them, the more fire burned in Joey's belly, to enable her to say all the nasty things she could think of to Susan.
'You are a bastard. Sorry to break your sorry ass bubble, but my dad told me about you when he was drunk one night. He told me this grave secret. You are a wanderer, a wild pig without anyone out there to own up to bringing your sorry ass into this world. So when I tell you that you are below my maid and that you can't even clean my bathroom, you should know that what I'm talking about is for real. You are way beneath me, Susan' Joey barked, her eyes looking towards Richard Williams from time to time while he approached them. Throughout the entire argument since it started, however sharp Susan was with her words at Joey, she maintained a sense of calm, but now that Joey had given her a blow below the belt, she was damn furious. Calling Susan, a bastard? Susan damn near lost her senses this time around.
'Shut up' Susan barked, her teeth snarling at Joey in unadulterated anger.
'Or else what? what if I don't shut up?' Joey asked, provoking Susan by the second. 'You want to beat me up?' she asked Susan again. 'I dare you, you have never had the balls' Joey bellowed. The resounding slap that Susan gave Joey the following second was enough to send her back to her celebrity friends as if the wind had delivered her to them.
'Phaaaow' the slap sounded like a race car jetting past a competition.
'This is all you will ever be able to do to me in your life, you good for nothing, the bastard child of a harlot mother' Joey sneered at Susan, holding the part of her face that had been slapped in her right palm as if covering it that way would make the pain sting less. Susan gritted her teeth. Joey was driving her insane, so insane to the extent that she wished she could slice Joey in several places with a razor, or even a paper. She wished she had long and sharp nails to claw at Joey like a tiger until she bled. By the time a furious Susan was about to land another hateful slap on Joey's cheek, a hand, strong as steel and cold as ice, held on to her little wrist, holding it in place before it landed on Joey again. Surprised, Susan turned to look at who it was that had held her back, only to be faced with the shocker of her life.
'What the fuck?' she asked herself when her eyes met with this handsome man. His face was long and he had a square jaw, just like her son Michael. He looked just like Michael, what on Earth?
'Oh Susan, my lovely sister Susan, why do you hate me this much?' Joey started to cry. She held her face and wailed as if she was indeed the victim in the current scenario that Richard Williams had come to meet. Susan was taken aback. The way Joey was crying, even Susan started to think back if she didn't really abuse and bully Joey as far as the way she was crying was concerned. All this drama? Susan was astonished indeed. Joey's eyes were red. Tears filled them, and she indeed looked and sounded genuinely pitiful, as if she did not just have a wild and arrogant tone at Susan a couple of moments ago, insulting her and her mom. While Joey was still putting up a show, Susan turned around again to look at the man that had held her hand and stopped her from hitting Joey. He looked very familiar.
'This is strange' Susan said to her hearing only.
'Why did you hit her?' Richard asked Susan with a cold tone. He assumed, from the way Susan was looking at him, that she was blown away by his handsomeness. He thought that just like other females, Susan had instantly fallen for him. He sent out an aura that repelled Susan and whatever kindred vibe she wanted to hold on to towards him. He looked irritated.
'What are you looking at me for? I asked why the hell you beat her up like that for?' Richard asked again, this time in a more disrespectful tone. From the way he sounded, Susan figured out that he was on Joey's side.
The thought of Joey cursing at her and her mother crossed her mind again. The fact that she had threatened to burn her mother's clothes, and even called her a bastard, crossed Susan's mind and allowed her anger to burn once more, even more, heated than the first time.'It has absolutely nothing to do with you' Susan suddenly barked at Richard. She wriggled her wrist while he held her firmly, trying to break free from his grip.
'Let me go you, a bloody intruder. This has absolutely nothing to do with you' she yelled at Richard.
'Richard, please let her go. She's crazy' Joey supposedly intervened on Susan's behalf.
'What?' Susan muttered, turning to look at her stepsister in shock. She started to laugh sarcastically, and somewhat hysterically.
'I told you, she's out of her mind. She wanted me to introduce her to a couple of my manager friends, trying to force herself into the business. I told her she's not ready for it, but she thinks I just don't want her to succeed, so...' Joey explained to Richard.
'This is unbelievable' Susan said in a faint whisper. Of course, Richard believed what Joey had just said because he indeed saw Susan slapping Joey without mercy and decorum, and Joey didn't slap her back or retaliate, so it was safe for Richard to assume that Susan was a mad woman.
'She wants to join in the business with such average looks?' Richard Williams asked, checking Susan out with a ridiculous aura.
Susan was furious. Joey was trying to bring up her shameful past in front of Jacob, and the way she was going about it was full of mockery and insult. Joey's own mom, who doubled as Susan's stepmother had drugged her, and then when she became unconscious, sent her to the hotel where the disgusting man who was now the father of her kids had broken her innocence while she was not even aware of what was going on with her. How ruthless. How could she be able to tell Jacob that sort of story of her life? Of course not. She was not going to do that.''What is she talking about, Susan?'' Jacob asked. The more Joey hinted at the reason Susan ran away to a foreign country, the more curious Jacob became.''Please dear, let's just continue to eat in peace. There's nothing to know'' Susan told Jacob calmly. She was determined to maintain a smooth relationship with him. If she dared to talk about her nasty experience, she was not sure how Jacob would react.''She has been with other men, Jacob. It
Susan arrived at the Beathrow Restaurant a couple of minutes later. A lot of luxury cars were lined up from side to side, protecting a limousine that stood in its grace and beauty between the cars that guarded it.A tall and handsome man with legs that were as long as stilts stepped out of the car. His face shone brightly as the sun and all heads were turned toward his direction because of the grace and aura he carried. However, these lurking eyes could not behold the stern gaze that the cold and emotionless man returned at them. He oozed arrogance and pomposity, so much so that no one could walk in the same space with him. His presence and appearance definitely felt like a shame to any other men that were not on his level and status.A proud Richard Williams led his bodyguards into the reserved elevator section of the Beathrow restaurant. While he was in the elevator, his jaw clenched and unclenched in nervousness, anxiety, and a bit of anger at the fact that he knew Susan was in tha
''Keep an eye out on them for me. And always call or come back to tell me what is going on, okay?''Richard ordered his bodyguards to man the district where his kids lived with their mother, Susan, and their aunt, Mabel. After what Michael revealed in the car on their way to the district they lived in, Richard could not leave without making sure that he appointed guards to watch over them. If Richard came to hear at any time that his kids were missing, he was sure going to lose his mind. So he acted hurriedly. As expected, Richard did not drive himself home. He sat behind the car and let his thoughts wander away, thinking about his children.''Are you okay, Susan?'' Aunt Mabel asked when Susan entered the house with the kids and shut the door behind her. Susan quickly walked over to the window and appeared to be worried while she peeped outside.''What's going on outside, what are you looking at?'' Aunt Mabel asked.''Mummy is looking at our daddy's car'' Michael the mischievous one r
''Exactly Michael. You know how unsafe it is to have all these mean-looking men glaring at you angrily, so it is better that you stay away from him. Don't go close to him because only mean people move around with these mean men'' Susan told her inquisitive son.Richard's face immediately got distorted after Susan made this unwholly remark. He was upset because he knew that Michael had taken his mother seriously after she made such a comment about him.''My dear boy, I have to move around with them so that I can be safe and get to wherever I am headed, quickly. Don't mind your mom, I'm not a bad person. Okay?'' Richard asked Michael. Michael completely agreed with his dad on this one.''It is true mom. Daddy is right. If we have the mean-looking men with us, you won't have to be afraid that anyone wants to take Judy and I away, you know that you are always afraid of it happening.'' Michael told his mother, Susan.''What did you say?'' Richard barked suddenly at Michael. He slowed down
Judy woke up uncomfortable. She smacked her cheeks urgently as if something was itching her. Maybe Richard's excessive kisses on her face caused her such discomfort.''What?'' Richard asked urgently when Judy's face started to distort. It seemed as if she wanted to cry. He got up in a haste, feeling that Judy had grown tired of the position that he held her in, and started to rock her back to sleep while he held her in his arms, gently cooing her back to dreamland, but Judy woke up. Her eyelashes fluttered open, and her large eyes blinked in front of Richard's face. When Richard looked into her eyes, he saw that they were so pure. Like the sky on a bright sunny day, they shone and gleamed at him, blinking gently and trying to get used to the environment that they were faced with.''Mummy...'' Judy cooed as soon as she got a complete hold of her senses.''It's me, Judy, it's Daddy that's here with you now'' Richard told her.''No, I want mummy now. Not you, mummy. I want mummy''. Judy
''Richard wants to see you''. Susan told the butler when she found him outside the living room, staring in the direction of the ocean.''Take her to look for the boy'' Richard ordered, and soon enough, the butler and Susan were on their way to fetch Michael from wherever he was. They drove in a cart across the expanse of the beach, scheming through the foot of the mountain and past the forest. Susan heaved a deep sigh. This was the definition of wealth. She quickly snapped back to the moment when she realized that she was having pleasant thoughts concerning something that had to do with Richard. Nothing could ever make her see Richard in a pleasant light. The son of a bitch that was trying to take her kids from her, never! The butler took her to a massive toy room, and there she found Michael. He was lost in another world. Focused, yet his face flushed with excitement while he swam in the abundance of toys that graced him in that room.He was in the company of Richard's assistant, who
It was impossible to get Judy to sleep if she was not being cuddled. Susan would usually do the most for Judy, just to appease her to fall asleep, yet this man had easily sent her to dreamland effortlessly.Susan could not explain how upset she was. She could feel it in her bowel. Her insides twisted and turned in pain at the thought of this recent development. She stepped out of the bathroom and got dressed, only for her to see that Judy was still in Richard's arms. The look on his face spoke of contentment. He was fine by himself, sitting on a couch and staring into space while Judy slept peacefully on his shoulder. Susan had hardly ever seen her this peaceful. She wished that she could snatch her daughter away from Richard at once. She felt irked to the core.''Shhh...'' Richard hushed Susan when she suddenly appeared in front of him, looking as if she wanted to continue with her ranting from where she stopped.''Don't make a sound'' he added. Susan was taken aback by the way Richa
Susan was not trying to commit suicide actually. She was embarrassed at the ugliness that her tears and flu had caused on her face. She had been crying her eyes out, literally. When she entered the ocean, she could easily give the excuse that her eyes were swollen because of the seawater, and sand that had made their way into her eyes. While she was trying to step out after succeeding in rinsing her face in the ocean, she felt his arms grab her waist. Richard grabbed her and pulled her out of the water, and she stumbled into his embrace.''You want to commit suicide just because I found my kids?'' Richard asked her. As far as he was concerned, she wanted to take her life for such a trivial reason.''Excuse me?'' Susan replied, clearing her throat violently of the water that had forced its way into her mouth and nose. Suicide? I was not trying to commit suicide''. She replied. If it were possible, Susan wanted to live for another one thousand years.''Get your dirty hands off me. Leave
''Mummy, where are you going?'' Judy asked when she turned around because she heard her mom's footsteps leaving the space that they were in. Judy had almost slept off on Richard's shoulder with that damn hug, and Richard was ready to stay there for as long as Judy deemed fit.''I'm going to take a walk'' Susan replied. Tears! Tears of defeat had filled her eyes, and she did not want Judy nor Richard to see them, so she did not turn back to look at them.''Are you sure mummy? If you are going back home, I will go back home with you'' Judy cooed. Finally, she had come back to her senses. She was afraid that Susan would leave her there with Richard, and never come back to pick her up again. It bothered her a great deal.Judy was only interested in Richard's cake and nothing else. Of course, she wanted to stay with her mother in the long run, not Richard.''Mummy, wait...'' Judy said while she started trying to break free from Richard's grip. Just when he was starting to bask in the eupho
