Boma quickly explained what had happened at the phone store the previous day.

She told him about how a girl entered the restroom and chatted with her randomly and hugged her, after which she noticed that the ring was gone. And by the time she returned to the store, the girl was already gone.

Hearing her explanation, Donovan felt a different anger taking over him. At first, when he discovered her finger without the ring, he thought it was a show of disobedience. That thought pissed him off. But now that he had discovered the truth from her mouth, he was getting more pissed off.
