My mother keeps yelling and screaming things on the short way to the house but I can't pay attention, the only thing on my mind is how much I want to stay with Alpha and keep touching his hair and ears.

If I could stay with him forever that would be amazing.

"You're grounded," my mother says, getting my attention this time, "You can't go back to that house until you stop behaving like that every time you see that boy. He's a bad influence on you."

"He's not!" I defend him, my hands fisted and my chest filling with anger, "I just really like spending time with him and I hate that you never let me do it. I hate you!"

My mom gasps in horror and I immediately feel bad for saying that, but I can't deny that I seriously feel that way right now. I hate her for not letting me be with him.
