The forest swallowed us, thick branches clawing at my clothes. I clutched tightly to my bow string, ready for anything.

“Are you sure we're on the right track Selene? I whispered.

She nodded slightly, taking the lead. “Yes, the map clearly showed that this part had been occupied, so my guess is that, it was being used by Ethan and Lucas.” Her voice wavered, but she was determined to find Riley.

We finally arrived at Ethan's, crouching behind a tree, peering into his den. An old abandoned cabin stood, seemingly not having been in use for over a few years before Ethan began to make use of it. Dim lanterns flickered, casting it's glow around. His guards stood on patrol, their faces not given any chance of escape.

“Are you sure we can do this Selene?” I murmured.

“Yes, we can,” She whispered, “You ought to show those elders whose boss.”

I inhaled deeply, my heart racing. “Okay, let's do this.”

Gently, we slipped through the tall bushes surrounding the area, and the scent of damp earth
