Trish finished helping with my hair in silence after her outburst and then I asked her to leave. I'm not wearing any finery today since I’m taking Drake up on his offer to go out.
I shouldn’t have taken his bait, but I couldn’t keep quiet listening to him make himself out to be the victim.
“This is amazing Drake; how did you find this place?”
Well that took an unexpected turn, enjoyable but unplanned.
But now we have a dilemma.
The completed buildings look amazing, they've been given a fresh coat of paint outside, but inside they have made many changes. They've kept the airy feel but managed to fill the spaces with features that will contribute towards any type of business that might require the space.
I hadn't meant to offload all of that onto Drake, but it's been playing on my mind these last few days and his words strike deep within me. The closer I get to him the stronger I feel inside, but then I see Lance and I don't feel strong, I feel trapped.
My father’s voice booms across the room, causing us to break apart so quick, that Drake trips over Fang. If I weren’t so scared, I would have laughed, but I need to calm my father down.
"This is quite fun actually, having to wait in line.”
