Chapter 49: Jayla

"Have I time-traveled and I didn't know?" Teased Jayla while she delicately touched Gigi's hair.

Gigi and she were laying on her bed, staring at the ceiling, surrounded by used tissues (because Gigi had been uncontrollably crying for more than half an hour) and she was trying to comfort her as much as she could. She was her friend and that meant being there for the good times and being there for when Gigi needed a shoulder to cry on.

Truth was, Jayla was freaking tired. Not only because it was 3 a.m, but it was also because she had had to comfort Liz for three years too, the drama just never ended between them and as much as she loved Gigi, she was still kind of mad at her for leaving and not talking to her ever again. She played dumb around her for the first couple of weeks but she wanted to talk with her about it, Gigi was not just her friend, it had been her best friend.

Gigi and Jayla met when they were fourteen and they were trying to become cheerleaders. They
