Benson's game of distraction was in full swing. He already had a hookup date and was very eager about it.

He bounced in his chair, a grin on his face and an upward gaze. Alita came to mind as his mind wandered through many thoughts. He realized he hadn't had sex in a long time, and it was all because of his feelings for Alita.

I have no ties to her, so...

He stood up from his chair, ruffling his hair with his hands. He turned around to face the city, his hand in his pocket.

He felt the urge to drink, so he returned to his table, grabbed his phone, and exited.

Jane tottered towards him as he pulled the door open and turned to walk to the elevator.

He was taken aback when he saw Jane. It wasn't yet time. What was her purpose in being there? She had only been gone for a few hours. He furrowed his brows and pursed his lips.

"I know you're wondering why I'm here," she whispered as she came to a halt, palm on the wall, gaspi
