Ben’s heart was pounding so hard it felt like it would punch a hole through his ribs. He clenched his jaw and took a step closer to Stacy, lowering his voice in a desperate attempt to keep things contained.

“Keep your voice down,” he hissed. “You don’t get to cause another scene. Serena is still here”

Stacy rolled her eyes and flopped back onto the couch like a spoiled heiress. “And what? You’re afraid your little angel will hear the truth? That she’ll see the woman you really are when no one’s watching?” She let out a cold, slow laugh. “Ben, she’s already gone. She’s just too polite to slam the door.”

“Stacy, please,” he muttered, trying to remain composed. “Just stop. You’ve done enough. I’ll handle it, but this this chaos you’re creating it won’t end well for anyone.”

Before Stacy could spit out another venomous word, a familiar voice cut through the thick air like a blade.

“I was wondering why the walls suddenly felt toxic.”

Both Ben and Stacy froze.

  • Dumped by Ex , I married his Uncle    Find her

Ben paced the length of his study, the soft glow of the desk lamp throwing golden light across his face, now gaunt from sleepless nights. His suit jacket lay crumpled on the floor where he’d thrown it hours ago. A half-empty glass of scotch sat untouched on the table beside him, its amber contents glinting like guilt in crystal. His voice, when it came, was ragged. Almost broken.“Find her,” he barked at the two men standing silently before him. “I don’t care what it costs. I don’t care what you have to do. Just find my wife.”He slammed his hand down on the desk, the impact echoing off the tall windows that looked out over a city bathed in moonlight. The world outside continued to spin cars moved, lights glowed, people lived but Ben’s had come to a grinding halt the moment Serena walked out that door.A door he never should’ve let her pass through.“Turn down the city if you have to,” he said, voice rising now, pushing past the lump in his throat. “Tear down every street, every alley

Serena stood on the pavement, one trembling hand wrapped around the handle of her suitcase, the other cradling the gentle swell of her belly beneath her sweater. The sun had begun to set, casting long shadows across the quiet, upscale neighborhood. The world outside Ben’s house was still and beautiful—roses blooming behind pristine gates, fountains burbling peacefully in manicured gardens—but inside her, a storm was raging. She could still feel the echo of her footsteps on the hardwood stairs, still hear the faint tremor in Ben’s voice, the way he had whispered her name like a last prayer. And she could still feel the finality in her own goodbye.A goodbye she wasn't sure she had the strength to follow through.“I shouldn’t have left,” she muttered under her breath. “What have I done?”Her voice cracked on the last word. Her legs ached from the long walk she'd taken without any direction, her feet swollen and sore in shoes not meant for escape. She hadn’t even taken her wallet—only he

  • Dumped by Ex , I married his Uncle    Stacy what are you doing here

Stacy stood in the grand foyer of Ben and Serena’s estate, her heels clicking deliberately against the polished marble floor. She wore a smug, expensive smirk along with her skin-tight designer dress, and her carefully styled hair bounced as she surveyed the space like it already belonged to her. Behind her, two housekeepers struggled to carry in her designer suitcases, each one emblazoned with luxury logos.“I’ll be staying a while,” she said breezily to one of the younger maids, who looked between her and the luggage in visible discomfort. “Tell Ben I’m here. And tell him I’m not leaving.”She glided into the sitting room, settled onto the plush cream couch like a queen arriving at her palace, and crossed her legs as if she hadn't just detonated a nuclear bomb in someone else's life. She poured herself a glass of water from the crystal jug on the side table, unbothered, humming a soft tune as if she owned the place.Upstairs, Ben sat in his darkened study, still nursing the same sto

  • Dumped by Ex , I married his Uncle    I will fix this

Ben sat in the dim confines of his study, a swirling abyss of chaos and regret. The once-pristine room—lined with shelves of books, leather-bound journals, and framed accolades—was now in shambles. Papers littered the floor like autumn leaves. His laptop lay on its side, cracked at the hinge. The whiskey bottle, once untouched on the corner bar, now lay nearly empty, tilted against a stack of discarded documents. The only light came from a small desk lamp flickering inconsistently, casting long shadows that danced on the walls like ghosts—ghosts of everything he had destroyed.Ben slumped on the cold hardwood floor, his back pressed against the mahogany desk, his shirt soaked in sweat and whiskey. His breath came in shallow, uneven pulls, his head spinning from the alcohol and the sheer weight of his grief. But none of that compared to the sound that haunted him most: Serena’s voice. Her sobs echoed in his ears as if she were still in the room, crying, broken. Her voice—once soft and

  • Dumped by Ex , I married his Uncle    I’m sorry

Ben stood at the hallway mirror, rehearsing again and again the words he planned to say to Serena. His heart pounded violently in his chest. It wasn’t just the fear of her anger it was the fear of losing her. Of watching everything they had built over the past few months crumble like a sandcastle under the weight of one reckless, regrettable choice. He had made up his mind to confess. No more lies. No more hiding. If Serena was to love him, it had to be with eyes wide open.Clenching and unclenching his fists, he finally turned the knob to her room and stepped inside, already opening his mouth to begin his confession only to stop dead in his tracks. There, sitting on the edge of the bed, was Serena. Her face was soaked in tears. Her shoulders trembled, her phone clutched tightly in one hand. The screen still faintly lit with the thumbnail of a video—the video. That video.Ben froze, his breath catching in his throat. “Serena…” he whispered. Her head snapped up, and the pain in her eye
