She wasn’t going to let a single of her shares to be taken away, nor would she let them all fall cheaply into Tessa’s hands.

At that, Grace suddenly straightened in her seat.

“If you put it that way, then I’ll make myself clear in front of all these shareholders. The shares I promised you before—I’m taking back half.”

Aurora didn’t hesitate. “Fine.”

That outcome, losing half, was already more than enough for her.
