S5-Chapter 168

Anabel’s POV

Rick turned our honeymoon into a big mystery. All I knew was that we'd be gone for ten days, and even my suitcase had been packed by Melissa. When we left the party, the driver was already waiting to take us somewhere—I just didn't know where.

"Where are we going?" I asked, feeling curiosity consume me.

"It's a surprise!" He smiled and kissed my hand.

"If this trip takes more than an hour, I won't be able to handle all this curiosity," I said seriously, and received his smile in response.

"It will last just a tiny bit longer than that." He pulled me closer and hugged me.

The car ride wasn't long. Looking out the window, I realized we were heading toward the port, which made me even more curious. I'd been imagining this honeymoon would be somewhere sunny—after all, Rick loved sun and heat, and I loved seeing Rick in swim trunks with his wet body stretched out on a lounge chair as if he were posing for an ad campaign.
