Fernando’s POV

I headed straight to Alexander's company. I needed to talk to Catherine and knew she was waiting for me.

"About time you got here." She was at the reception desk and came to meet me, pulling me outside. "Come on, let's get some coffee."

We sat down at the small café across the street and ordered coffee and pastries. Catherine seemed obsessed with those chocolate chip muffins.

"Tell me everything, Cat," I asked.

"First tell me how you are and what you're going to do," she requested, and I knew she was worried about her friend.

"What am I going to do?" I took a deep breath and smiled. "I'm going to go crazy trying to figure out how to handle all this, but I'll be a very happy crazy man! And I'll do my best to be a good father. I love Melissa, Catherine! I don't exist without her."
