54. Evan's Strange Behaviour

Hot puffs of smoke rose to the top as Maya, who had just finished taking a shower, came out from her bathroom in casual clothes. After sweating all day, Maya finally returned to a fresh look that was no longer as dirty as before. The girl immediately turned her head towards the window in her room, when the familiar sound of a car entered her ears.

In the middle of the night, Evan finally returned with Kevin from his work. Maya had to send her lunch and dinner through Kevin, who came home only to pick up things in the afternoon. Evan wasn't usually like this. The man even looked pale as Kevin helped him out of the car and into his wheelchair.

Rushing, Maya immediately put away her towel, which she was using to dry her hair before leaving her private room. Maya went straight to the front door, where Evan had just entered in his slow speeding automatic wheelchair.
