Last night meant nothing to her, I thought this was the beginning of something more for me and Claire.

"I tried calling Caroline" Simon's voice interrupted my thoughts as I stared at him.

"Let me guess, she didn't pick" I chipped in, noticing the disappointment in his face as he took a sip of his drink. "Isn't it too early to be drinking"

"Now you prefer me sober than drunk," He said sarcastically.

"I prefer none, if it stops you from causing me trouble then so be it" I answered.

Simon rolled his eyes. Relaxing he placed his legs on the table, feeling at home.

"I thought you complained about spending money on your divorce case and your kids that you were almost broke" I stood up admiring the hotel suite he was lodged in.

"I didn't book it, remember i told you, i was here for a medical conference, they were the ones who booked it for me, Remember am their very important guest" Simon added
