31. Meeting Shani

We finally checked out of the cottage later that afternoon. We were heading back home and was picking up Milo at the so-called dog hotel when Walter's phone buzzed with an incoming call.

"Hi Shani, yes...she's here...yeah sure, okay wait..." Walter was on his phone, when he gave it to me moments later, saying Shani wanted to talk to me.
