Gwyneth’s POV

“Are you sure you wouldn’t need my help from those brats?” Zaina seems worried but her voice was obviously annoyed because of those brats she was referring to. “If only you allow me to come inside the principal’s office with, I’ll surely make them pay for what they’ve done.” She gritted her teeth but I just answered her with a quick shook of my head.

“I’ll be fine so you don’t have to worry about me,” I said then forced a smile before pushing her to leave. “I swear I’m going to defend myself from their wrath,” I kid but she’s still not convinced.

“If something will happen to you—”

“There again! You’re exaggerating things that are most unlikely to happen.” I said, cutting her off while busy pushing her away. “Don’t you trust me? I can easily handle this alone so don’t worry about me, so you better go now to the café in front of our school gate because Maureen probably waiting for you there.” I swayed, hoping she’ll gonna listen to me.
