Alex's POV
She nods and walks towards the rack picking the outfit for the gala that had been planned weeks before. She lays it on the bed, and struggles to stand as she rests on the ottoman.
I stand up and walk towards the bed, spanking her bare ass. I quickly dress up, and Mary helps where she thinks it's necessary.
Soon I'm done, and I stand in front of the mirror admiring myself. The emerald green suit, shone against my pale skin.
The highlights of gold on the satin twinkling, matching my eye colour, my blonde hair was slicked back. I smile at the image I see. There was no way I wasn't going to get a new girlfriend tonight. I thought to myself.
I walk towards the door, "Dress up, clean up then leave my room Mary." I instructed as I left the room. I hear her voice faintly, "My name isn't Mary." I ignored her and carried on.
I walked towards the end of the hallway and stood at the top of the stairs overlooking the ball room. The room buzzed with life, with many gowns and suits as if to outdo each other. I saw the amount of guards even in the ballroom.
I take my time going down the stairs my eyes scanning the crowd for my parents, soft classical music playing in the background. I find them and quickly made my way to them, they stood elegantly dressed in the same colour with me, but they seemed more regal.
The 'King and Queen of England'. "Mother, father good evening." I said to them. "Good evening son." My mother said back pulling me in for a hug. My father eyes me in disappointment, I ignore him.
"Did you get my message from the butler." He asks me in a cool tone. I nodded, "Great." He replied. "Anyways, mother, father I'll be off having diplomatic conversations if anyone needs me." I tell them and leave.
I walked through the ballroom, my eyes scanning everyone, I hear a group of high pitched laughter in the darker corner of the ballroom. I trace the sounds to a group of five girls drinking and laughing, I smile once I see them. I've hit the jackpot.
"Hi ladies." I announce. They giggle and smile as they whisper their hi's individually. I stretched out my hand towards the first girl, she places her hand in mine and I hold it up and say with my award winning smile.
"Your eyes, my lady, hold the very starlight that illuminates this ballroom. I fear if I gaze too long, I'll lose myself in their depths." The girl blushes with her other hand covering her face and I bring down my lips to the back of her hand.
I turn to the second lady, and repeat the same with a different line. "Your smile, like a rare and precious bloom, brings a warmth to this evening that no other light could provide.
I am honored to bask in its glow." She too blushes and giggles. I turn to the third girl and say, "My lady, the very fabric of your gown seems to sigh with pleasure at the touch of your skin." The girl pulls her hand away in disgust and pushes me aside as she walks away.
I stand there stunned, "Don't worry, she's such a prude." I heard the other girls say. I turn to them and introduce myself, "My name is Prince Alex Windsor, the heir to the throne." "Wooww," one of them says. "An actual prince?" Another asks and I nod.
"Anyways this ball seems boring, I'd love to take you four on a private tour of the palace." I say to them. They all nod eagerly as they followed me out of the ballroom.
Walking down the hallway, "Pardon my manners beautiful ladies, I forgot to ask for your names." I tell them. The laugh, "Well it's alright. I'll introduce myself first." The brunette said.
"My name is Hailey Stan, My dad's a congressman and I begged to be his plus one as I'd never seen an actual prince up close." She said her cheeks pink. "Well now you've seen a prince up close and you may even get to be much more closer to him." I tell her my voice dropping an octave.
A look of shock washes over her face as she lands a slap across my face. I winced at the pain, "How dare you?!" She screamed at me. "You don't sound like a prince at all your just like the other creeps I've met." She said as she turned away and walking back to the ball room.
The other girls stood shocked, I turn to them unfazed. "Well that was that, would any of you like to continue with the tour?" I ask them. Two girls who seemed to be Hailey's friends, one blonde and one brunette kissed their teeth.
They walked away following the path Hailey just took one of them turned to face me and screamed, "You disgust me, you didn't even make an effort to apologize." I look at them a non-chalant look on my face as I shrugged. It seemed to have made them more angry as they stomped off.
I turn to face the last girl with an expressionless face, "Are you going to leave too?" I asked her. She looked down at her feet, "No I'm not going to, you seem fun to be with and they're just over reacting." She said her voice small. "Alright." I tell her as I continued walking down the hallway.
I showed her some rooms and some armour and artefacts used to decorate the palace she looked around stunned.
I led her down another corridor and it led to an open door that led to the courtyard. We stepped onto the cobblestones in the courtyard, I looked at the girl as she looked around in awe touching the flowers and the trimmed bushes.
I wondered if this was the first time she had ever left her house. "Come sit." I told her pointing to a concrete bench, one of many that surrounded the courtyard. We sat in silence for a while till I turned to face her breaking the silence.
"I didn't get your name pretty." I told her. "Oh." She said in her small voice. She played with her fingers in her lap, her eyes refusing to meet mine.
"My name is Emerald and I'm the the Princess of Wales." She said. My hands curled under her chin and I lifted her face to meet mine. "Wow, your name effectively captures your beauty." I told her. A tinge of pink rushes to her cheek, "Thank you." She says.
"The way it matches the colour of your eyes, your jet black hair, pale skin and the most tempting cherry red lips I've ever seen." I continue. She blushes harder this time too shy to say a word.
"The princess of Wales right? How come I have not seen you or heard of you?" I ask her curious. "Well I was born with an autoimmune disease and had to stay quarantined in a room separate from the world all my life.
Coming here to make new experiences was my 20th year birthday wish." She tells me. " Wow." I say and nod. I move closer to her my breath fanning her face, "Well what other new experiences do you wish to have, I'm willing to help." I ask her. She keeps silent struggling to keep eye contact.
I crash my lips onto hers immediately shocking her. She slowly melts into the kiss and starts kissing back. I pull her closer to me, pressing her body against mine.
"Alex please wait." She begs. I respect her wishes and pull away, looking at her for an explanation. She gives none, "Anything wrong, I'm just trying to give you a new experience." I ask her. She shakes her head,
"it's just that this isn't how I imagined it from the books. It's a lot slower." She tells him. "Oh well, I guess our journey ends here. I don't have that kind of patience for naive girls." I said dismissively. She broke out into sobs and ran off. I look at form leaving.
"Well that goes my chance of getting laid tonight." I say to myself disappointed. "Her kisses were terrible though." I say trying to comfort myself. "Well well well,
I'd never imagined the day I'll see you again." A deep male voice said from the shadows.
Alex's POVI couldn't help but stare at her peaceful beautiful expression. She had her eyes closed as she leaned towards me. The moment felt so real, so calm and yet so beautiful. My fingers trailed her smooth skin as I got lost in the warmth of her body. For a moment, I forgot the weight that had rested on me a while ago. My duties and everything in between that had once bothered me, now felt light, like they all vanished. My face lingered inches away from hers, I could feel her breath against mine. The woods, the birds, the noise—everything around us seemed to still, like they no longer existed. My breath matched hers, heavy, like we both knew what was coming. But instead of closing the gap, I leaned to the side at the last second. “We’re still in the woods, you know,” I whispered mischievously into her ear.Eleanor pulled back almost too quickly, her eyes fluttered open instantly. Her cheeks burned read instantly. “Right,” she said, quickly pulling back and cleaning her hands on
Nick's POVI don't know how long I sat there, but I knew very well that I dreaded hearing that voice. Just when I asked for a little peace of mind. The universe can't just give me a break."Earth to Nick?" The voice snapped me out of my thoughts. It was smooth and laced with amusement."Already drunk this early in the day?" She added.I froze. I knew that voice very well.It was familiar, too familiar. I searched my mind, running through my memory to try to place it. Then it came to me gently. It was a voice I hadn't heard in five years. The last time I heard from her, she left town, never to return but that was five years ago.Catherine.I turned to finally respond to her but she had already slotted into the space across from me in the booth. I stared at her as her legs crossed, her expression smug like she owned the room.I kept my gaze on her, my jaw tightening. "What are you doing here?"She smiled, not skipping a beat. "Wow, it’s been a while, Nick. I’m doing good, thanks for ask
Alex's POV Her voice lingered in my mind long after she said it. "Are you truly happy, Alex?"I blinked. My thoughts had trailed off. A simple answer couldn't be easily given as I fought with reality. Eleanor was still kneeling, her fingers stroked my hand calmly. The movement soothed me as her eyes locked on mine with more gentleness than I deserved."I never thought of it that way," I murmured, my voice lower than usual. "I never imagined how a simple question could make me challenge everything I’ve ever known."She smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. "It’s normal to forget yourself when you carry the kind of weight we carry.""Do you?" I asked, surprising myself with the bluntness of my question. "Do you forget yourself too?"Eleanor looked taken aback, her lips parted slightly. She took a moment, adjusted herself on her knees, and nodded. "Yes," she admitted. "I do. Most of the time, especially when growing up.""Your parents?""Nope," she swallowed. "My aunt... she had a way o
Alex's POV I felt the strong pull to reach over and run my hand through her hair, through her perfect skin. I fought the desire to know how it felt.By the time I had recovered myself, she had neatly tied her hair in a perfect bun, pulled up her sleeves cleanly and had gone down a few inches with her heels kept aside. She reached over and took the trap from my hands while I stood still. A little laugh escaped her lips before she proceeded to kneel gently on the warm grass. I didn't know when I got lost watching her perfectly composed demeanor. I had to speak to avoid making things awkward."Never knew you were the kind to hunt?"She chuckled. "I guess you aren't doing a good job at getting to know me." I couldn't laugh. She was right. I suck at the little things."For your information, Your Highness," she paused, giving me a funny look. I loved the way she called it tho. "I started hunting when I was young, my dad took my brothers and me out hunting and till today, we still go out
Nick's POV "Some people need to talk about it. I can be a great listener." Her words stung my ears. The last time I shared how I felt, I ended up in a mess, worse than how I was before sharing. I can't imagine doing that again. So I gave a small chuckle, trying to keep things casual. "Is that in the package too?""Depends on how generous you are."The side flirtish tone didn’t go unnoticed. Her hands moved slower, with intent, lingering too long at the base of my spine, then sliding slowly over my lower back.I felt her lean forward as she pressed her body over mine. She whispered into my ear. "You have a beautiful body."I didn't respond. I wasn’t in the mood for this, but I didn’t stop her either. She leaned in further. I could feel her breasts pressing against my back. Her breath brushed my ear as she spoke. "I could help you forget whatever’s bothering you."Then she flipped the towel slightly to reach my hip. I stiffened. I felt uncomfortable, far from pleasure.I sat up abrupt
Nick's POVThe screeching of the tires pulled me from my annoyance. The car rolled over the marbled courtyard of my father's mansion. The bright sunlight bounced off the polished hood of my sleek black Jaguar. The world outside looked buzzy. The neighborhood still maintained its clean calm essence, just the way he liked it. Just the way he believed everything should be. But inside me, it was anything but perfect. My jaw clenched as I turned out of the block and onto the sleek road.I hated everything here.I hated the expectations, the scripts that were written for us long before we could even form sentences. Why do our fathers think they had the right to dictate our lives? Why does his father keep shoving royalty and legacy down Alex's throat like it was the only reason he had him? Why does mine keep trying to mold me into a man I can barely recognize? The perfect son. The future president. They didn't know us.At least, mine never really did. I exhaled, shaking my head. There was
