The midsummer evening was very sultry, but Quincy wanted to go out to play.

She pulled the arm of Spencer who was doing his homework, \"Brother, I\'m going to play, please accompany me.\"

Spencer couldn\'t be bothered with the heat. He really hated it when the weather was hot and sticky, so he refused her without hesitation, \"Just go by yourself, I won\'t come with you.\"

Quincy shook his arm hard, persuading him, \"Brother, pretty please!\"

Spencer was annoyed by her and just shot her a cold look, which made Quincy let go of him in an instant.

She grimaced at Spencer, \"If you don\'t want to go, then fine! I\'ll go by myself! You stink!\" she said, and ran out as soon as she finished speaking.

When their parents were on business trips, only the siblings were left at home together with the servants. When Spencer finished his homework, it was already completely dark out and Quincy hasn\'t returned yet.
