Chapter 10-Killian

It took Clara a lot longer to fall asleep than I thought. I watched her close her eyes tightly as if she was trying to escape something. Guilt eats away at me. She really is an angel and I’m the fucking devil. Every word she said to me tonight was true and genuine. I could sense it. Alpha wolves have special senses. We have a way of sensing if someone is lying to us. It’s like we can smell it or something. It’s truly hard to explain, but I knew she wasn’t lying. She wasn’t trying to save her skin.
