CHAPTER 50

KIRA

Kira changed into a bathing suit that she found in the bag Dimitri had packed for her and jumped into the pool.

Mercifully, the pool was empty. Only one man was sitting idly by the side with his legs dangling in the pool, otherwise there was no one in sight.

While she had stepped out, Kira had checked her purse. The phone given by the Whitakers was still there. But Kira did not know when to use it. Could she even use it?

She swam for a while, and then her eyes fell on the man who was sitting by the edge. It was Dimitri… She disbalanced and dropped inside.

Gasping for breath she came out, trying to compose herself, and he was gone!

Kira looked around, there was no one in sight now.

Was she hallucinating? Kira wondered. She needs to calm down.

And closing her eyes, taking a deep breath, she went down. Down to the bottom of the deepest part of the pool.
