Be my woman

The news from Aunt Mary, the maid is not a trick, after arriving at Alice's house she must be faced with the fact that her father really died. Now that Alice is beside her father's grave, Alice is reluctant to move. She still continues to cry beside her father's grave.

She didn't even care about her clothes getting dirty with mud, because at that time the weather was pouring rain. She was alone at her father's grave, everyone who took her father to his final resting place had left one by one. Alice's crying voice was barely audible as it merged with the sound of rain falling on the ground.

"Dad why did you have to leave me?! Why dad? I can't live this life alone without you, Daddy,” Alice sobbed desperately.

"Father has promised me to always be with me until I get married, but where is your promise?! Why did you just leave without saying anything to me, sob!”

Alice kept crying and wailing beside her father's grave. Her world suddenly seemed to be destroyed, she had no life encouragement anymore. Why did the people who loved her die. In fact, he came home in a state of her father who had died. Why didn't her father say goodbye to her?

Lots of questions nestled in her head, even she was sure that his father was sick not because of his illness. But there was an element of intent, the mother and half sister should have been here. But they reluctantly went and did not accompany their father until his final resting. Is that what you call a family?

Alice hopes that this is all a dream, she wants her father to live and be able to live happily with her. If her father is gone, then with whom will she complain later? suddenly someone came and stood in front of her, Alice was quite surprised by the sudden arrival of someone. A long leg now appeared in Alice's tearful eyes.

“Get up, go home! it's useless for you to stay here, your father won't live anymore,” said a voice that Alice knew very well.

A very familiar voice, slowly but surely Alice rose from her position. She could clearly see her stepmother standing in front of him carrying an umbrella. She didn't show any sorrow on his face.

“Father just died, and there is no sorrow in your eyes, Mother? Where is your conscience?” she asked in disbelief.

“Go home right now! I don't want to hear the complaints of a useless child like you!"

“Guards, take her home! if you don't want to just drag her!” Alice's stepmother turned around and immediately left Alice's presence.

While the bodyguards who get the task directly carry out it. They held Alice's hands. Alice, who did not accept it, thrashed because they were going to take her away from her father's grave. The strength of two men against one woman, of course she lost.

Suddenly Alice felt a pain in the nape of the back of her head, one of them hit the back of her head so hard that she fainted. She spoke softly calling her father. Until finally she really passed out and everything darkened instantly.

Alice blinked her eyes slowly when she felt a splash of water running down her face. When her eyes opened she saw his stepmother and also her stepsister who was none other than Sera, who was standing right in front of her now.

The two of them immediately sat down by force, she could only wince at the pain in her head. Alice felt cold, but they let her sleep on the cold floor without using a mattress or even a blanket. They even just woke her up with water.

"Wake up, you're so good sleeping. So maids don't deserve to be slacking around!” Sera said sharply.

"Cold, I'm sick. Let me go to my room,” Alice asked in a low voice. Because she felt that he had no more energy.

“You think we care?! Now your father is dead! She's already in the ground and he's not coming back! no one is defending you now, now you have to clean this house because many people came earlier. You've had enough of sleeping in!" Drew Holmes, who was Alice's stepmother, exclaimed sharply.

"I'm sick, I can't do it now. Please understand how I am now,” Alice replied softly, feeling her body completely weak.

Sera pushed Alice's body until she hit the wall. “No excuses! Quickly do what we tell you! Watch out if you fall asleep again!” Sera threatened.

"Come on, Mom, let's go. I don't feel comfortable if I continue to be in this warehouse." Sera fanned one hand arrogantly.

Mrs. Drew crouched down and gripped Alice's chin tightly. “Don't mess around, your father's house is not in your name anymore. According to me, if you still want to stay. Never argue with what I say! Understand?!" she threatened.

“It hurts,” Alice replied in an indistinct voice. Because her chin was pressed hard by her stepmother.

Brugh!

Alice was thrown for the umpteenth time, Alice could only cry with all this. She saw her mother and stepsisters had come out of the dark room that locked her up. She could not stand the successive misfortunes she experienced, they always tortured him as if she was not allowed to set foot in her own house. After all, it was her father's house.

“Father, why are you so quick to leave me with those who have no heart? They tortured me in my own father's house. Didn't you say you would always protect your daughter?" Thought Alice with tears that did not stop flowing.

"Dad, I miss you. I'm sick father, everyone is not on my side." Alice muttered softly in despair. Her face now looked pale with cold and filled with tears.

Alice rose from her position, she saw that there was an iron wire there. She smiles and walks towards the wire with an empty mind, she takes the wire and points it at her wrist. She smiled, this is the time she died following her father. She couldn't stand all the treatment they gave her. Alice closed her eyes, slowly but surely she scratched her wrist.

Drop by drop, blood flowed, but it had not yet reached the pulse. The sound of a door kicking caught her attention. She saw someone coming and immediately grabbed the wire on his wrist. He immediately hugged Alice's weak body very tightly.

“Why are you here? Let go, don't block me from ending my own life," Alice said with a blank stare. although in a semi-conscious state Alice knew who was now coming toward her, the man she had spent the night with, Adam Anderson.

"Don't do anything stupid!" Adam said without any intention to let go of the hug.

“You don't know anything, they're all so mean. I want to catch up with my father so that everything can calm down," Alice said weakly.

"That's not how you can rest easy. Be my woman, then I'll help you avenge everything they've ever done to you."

Alice stared at the man who had taken her girl with a blank stare and a desperate smile. There are no words that can be said because now he really feels weak and can no longer think.

“I will not leave you, Alice Laurine Holmes. I will help you avenge everything that has happened to you! Everyone who has treated you arbitrarily will get what you deserve! Even more than what you have ever felt!”
