Chapter 20

Dylan's POV

I stood by the window, my eyes narrowed as I stared out into the distance. My mind was still reeling from the revelation from two days ago. Georgia, the enchantress who had cursed my wolf, was still out there, and I had no idea what her next move would be.

I thought back to the day I had mistakenly killed my father, the former Alpha of the Moonstone pack. The guilt and shame had consumed me, and I had become withdrawn, unable to shift into my wolf form. Georgia had appeared out of nowhere, claiming she could help me. But instead, she had sought out the moon goddess, cursing my wolf to be mateless.

My fists clenched as I remembered the pain and frustration I had endured. I had thought I had left all that behind me, but now I realized that Georgia was still a threat, not just to me, but to my pack and others like us.

I knew I had to find her, to stop her before she could cause any more harm. But where to start? I had no idea where she was or what she was planning.

    Ava's POV“This should just be fine on you.”Marietta picked up a blue gown from the endless ones that seem to filter the mahogany wardrobe.I had just taken a quick bath after Marietta insisted I have to do that to see the Alpha.I brushed my hair gently to cover the wound that formed at the side of my face.     Ava's POVI stared at the paved street with high arched walls as the truck began to move at a really slow pace. The streets were a beehive of activities as it was full of people milling about, doing whatever I don't know. I can't remember how long the journey lasted, I was asleep for the greater part of the journey.And also, the ride has been a very silent one. The men hadn't uttered even a single word to me or even to one another. So I had thought them to be boring and maybe snobbish. I heaved a sigh of relief as the car finally slid to a halt in front of what appeared to be a monument. But my relief didn't last as the car was once again eased into motion, heading deeper into the monument.What are we doing here in a monument? And why was there so many guards? Does that mean an important person is currently here?A lot of questions were raging in my head but I chose to remain quiet.The car finally stopped in front of a grand building and one of Dylan's officials ushered me out.
