10. Soaked in the pool
After classes, I've been on the balcony for almost one hour, lying on a white beach chair while reading a book on Goodnovel.
I’ve spent the last two days ignoring Eren. I stayed most of the time in my room to avoid him. I even took my breakfast and dinner in my room. Whenever I came across him, I quickly walked away without glancing at him or every time he talked to me, I replied him dryly. I can’t look at his face without fuming. He is not even a close friend, he is only my bodyguard. I’m not gonna cede to his controllable manners. But as I reach down, my jaw almost drops. It's not Eren. It's an unknown guy around Eren's age with a brown quiff hairstyle who is watching the television with a packet of chips in his hands. I was on the point to faint but then I realise that he is maybe one of Eren's friend. I clear my throat which makes his gaze darts to me rapidly, his emerald-green eyes wide. Nervously, he straightens himself on the sofa and smiles quite guiltily. "Hey." He crunches on a chips. I ignore his hey. "Who are you?" I question rudely. He hums, chewing the chips in his mouth. "Toni." Argh. "That's not what I meant!" I groan at his stupidity. "Where is Eren?" I simply ask, folding my arms together as I remember that I've removed my bra before I slept. Please tell me he didn't notice my small pebbles.
Eren 14. Night club
“I can’t believe what you’re making me do.” Eren complaints angrily as we step in the club tonight. He has been sulking since yesterday, but he couldn’t do anything. I’ve blackmailed him and I’m the boss now. Somehow I’m also trying to punish him for what he has done. “Tonight you’re not going to control me.” I say out loud so that he can hear me through the ear-piercing songs booming around us. "We nearly reach. Are you alright?" I ask as I take a look at the interior visor. I barely see Hayat since it's very dark. But thanks to the miserable lights from the lamp poles, I can perceive her sleeping on the back seat. Hayat hums which I guess is a yes. I grunt under my breath as I park her father's black BMW in the driveway. I then rapidly get out of the car and open its back seat door. On the couch Hayat is lying, appearing so tired that I don't think she will be able to stand on her own legs. I stay still for some seconds, deliberating on what to do. I sigh in defeat. Let's do it. I bent ahead so that my arms and my head enter the car. I glide my left arm around Hayat's back and my other arm around the back of her upper legs. The soft warmth of the sunlight caresses my skin. I slowly open my eyes and an excruciating pain immediately starts cramming my head. My eyes are forcibly spread wide, a white ceiling is facing me. Bleary visions of last night start to play in my head. I remember drinking so much that I lost my mind. The sensation of the warm water dripping and falling down on my skin is what I needed to quietly think of all that happened. After a few minutes under the shower, Ludmilla’s face flashes in my head. My eyes widen as I realise that she was the one I pushed. Slowly, throughout the whole morning and afternoon, I recalled everything. I stayed in my room on my bed and I’m still, too ashamed of myself to get out. I’ve humiliated myself to such an extent last night that I want to stay under my bed forever.
