Alessandro

She was dead. It was too easy to say out loud. But deep down, we both knew we were unable to move on the thought that we abandoned her... killed her.

The conference room still echoed with the last words that had shattered the fragile decorum moments ago.

"Mauve? Did you just say Mauve!?" I repeated, my voice thick with disbelief and a twisted edge of desperate hope.

Alpha Paleframe stiffened, and I caught the faintest flicker of panic in his eyes. He masked it quickly, but not quickly enough.

"Master! Mauve Scarlet is dead. You know that!" Carl rushed to correct me, his voice laced with confusion, perhaps to convince both me and himself.

I gave him a death glare that silenced the room. Then I rose to my full height and looked straight at Alpha Paleframe.

"I don’t care. I will see whether she is Mauve or not."

" Master! I don't think she is Ma-!" His lips parted slightly, but the words did not come.

I narrowed my eyes, staring at Carl who had been trying his best to

  • Escaping From My Ruthless Husband   Training

Mauve,After breakfast, I went straight to my room. I knew Luna Valarie wanted me to attend the BloodStone Eclipse Pack to use my ability. However, I didn’t want to be distracted by them. I didn’t want to put a hold on my 72 hours of training. So, I decided to meet them outside. When I arrived at the guest house, I noticed Marcus and Alessandro were on the verge of getting into each other’s neck. Tension crackled in the air like static before a storm.Alessandro, who usually had arrogant dominance but stayed levelheaded, seemed visibly irritated by Marcus. His clenched jaw and furrowed brows gave it away.A sign of friendship? As I stepped onto the first corridor, Alessandro flinched. His head snapped toward me like he sensed something before even seeing me. His eyes met mine—and froze. He stood rigid, like someone caught off guard. The air between us thickened.“Mauve!” he whispered, almost breathlessly.I didn’t say anything. I simply walked toward them. My footsteps echoed sharply

  • Escaping From My Ruthless Husband   They can stay

I woke up to the faint gray light filtering through the heavy curtains. For a moment, I lay still, trying to piece together where I was, what had happened last night. The haze in my mind slowly cleared, replaced by the dull ache of exhaustion and the prickling weight of uncertainty. I blinked against the soft dawn and sat up carefully. The bed was grand but unfamiliar, draped in dark linens that felt almost oppressive in the early morning. A quiet stillness hung in the air, broken only by distant sounds echoing through the ancient stone walls of this place — the Dark Wolf Pack’s stronghold. It was an ancient fortress carved from cold stone and gnarled timber, the kind of place that held stories older than I could imagine. Shadows clung to its corners like secrets, and every creak seemed to whisper warnings. I swung my legs over the side of the bed, feeling the chill of the floor beneath my feet. I hoped Alessandro and Marcus would have left by now. After everything, I had e

  • Escaping From My Ruthless Husband   Leave the Pack

The murmur of voices around us blurred into a dull hum as my eyes locked onto Alessandro’s face. The flickering lanterns hanging above cast shadows that danced over his features, making him look both familiar and distant—as if he were a ghost from a past I hadn’t fully escaped. I hated him for what he did, for leaving me alone in that nightmare. And yet here he was, standing less than a breath away." I am not your replacement anymore, Mr Alessandro. So don't appear like you are something I will be glad to meet you after leaving me to die? Or... Letting your Pack make me a traitor when I did nothing wrong!"His eyes widened when I said that. His face twisted with pain and disbelief." It's not like this. I... I admitted that -!"" No!" I snapped, my eyes hardening. “Why are you here?” My voice was sharper than I intended, slicing through the night air. “After all this time. After everything you did—why?” He swallowed, his Adam’s apple bobbing nervously. His dark eyes held a weight o

  • Escaping From My Ruthless Husband   Meeting again

Mauve,I lay still on the bed, feeling the coarse fabric of the sheets beneath my skin, my silver hair spilling across the rough surface like a pale river frozen in time. The chamber was dim and cold, the flickering candlelight casting dancing shadows on the stone walls, wrapping me in a solitude I had come to expect, yet still found suffocating. Every breath I took felt heavy, burdened with memories and fears I couldn’t shake. I closed my eyes, willing the ache in my chest to fade, but it lingered stubbornly. The Hidden Valley was a world away from the chaos I’d left behind—ancient, mysterious, wrapped in fog and secrets. But no matter how far I ran, the ghosts of my past clung to me like a second skin. A soft knock at the door startled me. My heart skipped, then hammered against my ribs. Who could it be? I wasn’t expecting anyone. The door creaked open, revealing a figure shrouded in shadows. An elderly woman, her hair a wash of silver streaked with white, stepped inside with th

  • Escaping From My Ruthless Husband   Guests of Luna Valarie

Alessandro, " Is she really alright? Can't we meet her right now?" I asked, my voice palpable in desperation and hope. Luna Valarie Willows looked at me with that condescending gaze before stating, " She is perfectly fine and healthy, Alpha Alessandro! I hope you will respect our wishes and stay warm here tonight. Tomorrow, we will let you meet her!" She almost commanded, She, however didn't know that I don't like being commanded. " Fine. Twelve hours! Then I must see her!" I demanded. " You don't seem to trust us!" She tilted her head, her voice sharp. Marcus stood behind, scanning the Guest house that we had been offered to stay. " Sorry for disappointing you. But I don't trust myself either!" I smiled, although it barely reached my eyes. Luna Valarie scanned, almost reading me before nodding her head like she understood me. " Alright, Alphas. Don't be hot-blooded and fight with each other. If you don't want to disappoint Mauve! Certainly she isn't really kin to meet

  • Escaping From My Ruthless Husband   She must be gone

Luna PaleframeThe Golden Hall was barely lit by the dying flames of a single black candle. Its feeble glow cast elongated shadows that stretched like grasping fingers across the cracked stone walls and cold marble floors. The air was thick with the scent of ancient incense and burnt wax, mingling with the faint chill seeping through the cracked window. The hall had once been a place of warmth and power, but now it felt hollow—like a forgotten tomb where secrets festered in the darkness.I welcomed the shadows, their silent presence a comforting cloak. Darkness suited me. It understood me better than any living soul ever could.Outside, the moon hung low and ghostly in the night sky, a pale sentinel watching silently as it bathed the world in cold, silver light. Its chill crawled beneath my skin, awakening the cold fury I’d held buried beneath years of forced patience. It was time to unleash it.Mauve. My daughter. A name that tasted like bitter ash on my tongue, a reminder of failur
