Even with the noise canceling ear muffs, Kaine still held his ears as I let forth a screeching howl that shattered all four of the tempered glass targets that Seraphine had set up. Reyna was proud of her work, pouncing around in my head with a strut. She was quite full of herself with that show of power. I looked back towards Kaine, as he slipped the headphones off and the look on his face was one of shock, and admiration. "That's some ability." He said softly, and made his way towards me. He pulled me in and kissed the top of my forehead. "I fear that one day you won't even need me to protect you. What will I do then?" Kaine asked with a chuckle.

I grinned towards him. "I suppose protect the members of your flock. You're fixing to be Alpha after all." I told him. Kaine ruffled the top of my hair. "Son." Kaine and I both turned to look towards the Alpha as he made his way onto the field. How long had he been watching? It made me wonder. "Kaine, you and Valeria need to come with me."

    "Alright, Valeria. There are three battle formations of a Lycan." Valeria tilted her head to the side, confused. "The first form is mostly what you use now. The usual shifter type. Then there's a second form. A larger wolf that will dwarf the size of a normal shifter. The final form is called the Royal Lycan form. A werebeast. The mixture of humanoid and Wolf. This form is only to be used in dire situations, and hard to control. The duration you spend in the Royal Lycan form can make a difference in battle, that's true. However, it's also unstable, unpredictable, and more feral than a normal Lycan energy can sustain. The human host can completely lose their humanity and find themselves unable to shift back.
