"Ethan, can you come here a minute?" Ethan heard the familiar voice of Bella, his lab partner in his high school chemistry class. Bella had the look on her face that Ethan was starting to become quickly familiar with. "Not you too." He whispered under his breath. Although this time he welcomed the distraction. The thought of Brian being welcomed into the party was not a thought that he found welcoming. "Hi Bella, how's it going?" He gave her a friendly smile but nothing more, he had unconsciously decided he would not be leading anyone on ever again...even if he had to pay for sex. Bella's mouth formed into a pout as she said. "I dropped my keys in the grate on the corner. I can't reach them. Could you help me?" He was more than willing to put a little more distance between himself and the party, "Sure, lead the way."

Ethan believed his father was probably right, Thomas Conway had found out his father was human and that he had been put down by Charles Reid. He wondered exactly how the story had been relayed to him, but in the end it didn't really matter. Thomas had declared war between the packs and they would be ready. At his father's words he found out just how ready they would be, "Call in the warriors, all of them." he began. "If that mother fucker is looking for a war, he just found one." Ethan had never heard his father use that tone or those words. "Ethan, you're in charge. Make sure the troops are called in." "You're young, you'll love again." although Ethan knew his sister had nothing but good intentions, Emma's words still stung him all the way to his core. He needed comfort from his twin, he was now coming to the realization that this was a journey of grief that he would be traveling alone. With that realization came a feeling of despair it would have been impossible for him to imagine just three days ago.Pushing past his pain and anguish he squeezed his sister's hand.
