Chapter Eleven

Eva burst out laughing and the faces of the two men in front of her looked surprised. Mitchell opened his mouth to say something but then closed it again and sighed.

“Eva, you don't know, do you?”

Eva had no idea what he was talking about but she was certain that they were attempting to prank her. She rolled her eyes and pushed her empty plate and cup into the middle of the table. She scraped the chair back and went to get up. The tall, handsome stranger stood in the way but did not say a word. Instead, he just kept his eyes on her. Like he was possessed. Eva was beginning to feel a little uneasy as she just wanted to go home. This was a bit strange for her.

“Eva.” the stranger suddenly whispered her name huskily. He liked the sound of her name on his lips and she smelt so good.
