Chapter Ten

Tim was furious when he discovered that Eva had disappeared.

“This is all your fault.” he turned on Tina and shouted. She smirked, reapplying her lipstick and feeling satisfied that the girl had gone. She hoped that Eva would not come back anytime soon, or at all if she were that lucky.

“Maybe you will remember you have a family now. That bitch was never worthy of you anyway.” Tina spat. Tim could not believe what he was hearing.

She was so spiteful.

How did he ever agree to marry her!

“Daddy, is our sister ok?” Millie tugged at her fathers sleeve and looked up at him with wide eyes. Tim softened at the sight of her. He bent down to pick Millie up.

Tina ignored them and walked to the garden with a glass of wine. She disgusted Tim. She was not who he had thought her to be. Not at all.

Stroking the hair from his daughter's face, he smiled and nodded. It was hard for him to not get so emotional since he wanted to go out there and find his girl. She could be anywher
