When Liam spoke of being close to his godsister, no one expected that he would actually treat her better than he treated his own sister. 

Gemma's daughter, Mia, was born when Wendy was two, and Liam's preference was obvious since then. At first, they thought it was because Wendy was born earlier and had bonded with him more often but when they found out that the boy wouldn't speak to other girls even as a teenager, they couldn't help trying to find out what he was thinking. 

"What do you think of Wendy?" Livian asked him as they chatted idly and walked through the park one day. He was now an adult and although Wendy was still young, it was obvious that there was something.
